Any time now, I expect Shiela Jackson Lee to come out and declare it should be renamed for Clinton.

Hopefully our troops will take out that horrible mosiac at the hotel in Baghdad. It is of George Bush Sr. and not very flattering. A few accidently discharged bullets should take care of it.

That was my first thought. And no doubt Daschle will be deeply saddened.

"Where are all the Iraqi Migs ?"

Supposedly either parked in camo bunkers or "exported" to places like Syrious.

The first U.S. airplane landed Thursday at a key Iraqi airfield, which forces informally renamed ``Bush International Airport.''

Actually..."Bush International Airport" is already taken (Houston). Maybe we could name it "American International Airport". Has a nice ring to it.

...Forces informally renamed ``Bush International Airport.'' Already exists in Houston, TX (named for W's father)....

You're right! I can imagine the baggage mix-ups ready to happen... You fly to Texas, your luggage goes to Iraq...

Any chance this could stick with the post democratic Iraq?

Not if the previous post that there is already a "Bush [the elder] International Airport" is correct -- for obvious reasons these names have to be unique and clearly distinct.

Any day now, I expect Clinton to come out and say he had a plan for the liberation of Iraq, but the incoming Bush administration scrapped it!

I live a few miles from Bush [41] Intercontinental in Houston. Since IAH isn't "Bush International" I guess it's technically not a duplicate name. I always just call it Intergalactic. Anyhow, please ping me if you come across a photo of the sign!
