You are right. We know of at least two people who have paid for this policy with their lives.
At least 12, when you count the victims of John Muhammad who would still be alive, if he had been imprisoned on numerous counts of attempted murder for his 1991 grenade attack.

Why would he have to say 'Islam is the religion of peace' at all? Better to say nothing, as he's doing with the troop movements, than say something that isn't true.

What I support and wholeheartedly pray for, is for the safety and continued freedom of every citizen of the United States of America. Having Moslems in our Government, residint in our country and a part of our Armed Services promotes death to our freedom, security and lives. Period!

"the right to peaceablly assembly" would fall under tha category of the Men and Women who were murdered on 9/11 who were peaceablly assembled to go to work on that infamous day. Protecting the peace of the world from an evil tyrannt, bringing peace to Iraqi's neighbors, ourselves, etc. and having that peace disrupted by a Moslem who was responsible for many wounded soldiers and let us not forget the deaths of 2, that I'm aware of.
The word peace needs to be understood as a word of action. Not just written on our constitution, not just used by Hollywierds and others who wear peace necklaces but do not endorse protecting peace. Peace is a serious word and sometimes peace is not politically correct. I would surmize this is one of those times.

You're wasting your time promoting that lie. Moslem is an evil religion whose core fixture is "Convert or Kill", one or the other.

Thank you for your honest reply. Certainly it is time to make the key phrase "politically correct" obsolete.

"Black racism is also a problem in the U.S. military.
Although the official story is that "affirmative action" has been a great success, in an uncharacteristically frank New York Times series on race two years ago, a reporter covering an Army base subtly portrayed a clique of influential black sergeants as being racist, and deliberately blocking the career progress of white soldiers, while maintaining a system of race-based cronyism."This same sort of practice is prominent in the urban school districts of America. Black "cliques" form at the administrative level, pay themselves well and rule with an iron hand.

Why would he have to say 'Islam is the religion of peace' at all? Better to say nothing, as he's doing with the troop movements, than say something that isn't true.He was engaging in Christian charity, as he was likely afraid that otherwise, Americans might start taking revenge on Muslims in the U.S. Think back to the tenor of the time.

You're wasting your time promoting that lieI'm not the one that started it and I'm not the one promoting it. As I said, ask Bush if you don't believe. It's him and the other Republican leaders that are leading us down a path that is based on an 'Islam is a religion of peace' concept. You (and I) have no option but to follow on that path.
Enjoy.

I misunderstood you, and appologize. Yes, Bush does some things that make no sense. Appointing Gays, the tired mantra that Moslem is a religion of peace, etc.

First, mrstow, thanks for bringing this extremely interesting (and correct) article to FR!!. As always, a great job!
Second, fightu4it, you are 100% correct about the fate of "fidel jihad II" or whatever his name happens to be at the moment.
As I listen to the news on Fox, I am reminded of this PC idiocy everytime someone from the military opens their mouths. I am also reminded that it seems that this selfsame PC idiocy has caused each one of the spokespersons from remembering lessons learned in blood in WWII, Korea, and the one I am intimately familar with, Vietnam. What the PC indoctrinated, Xlintoon promoted planners have forgotten is that we have been here and done this many times before, over and over and over, and selective strikes did not produce surrender. The only way to produce surrender is by inflicting such profound and total damage to the cities that the enemy has no more infrastructure from which to fight or hide, and the enemy is decimated to the point where they are no longer able to prosecute effective offensive attacks.
If you are faced with a chamelion enemy who fights as irregulars, one has to make the difficult, but necessary choice to simply treat EVERYONE as the enemy, until proven otherwise. I would much rather be alive, and having the stupid press yammering about why civilians were dead, not hearing the yammering because I was dead, from those selfsame "civilians"
This will save many of our troops from having holes placed through vital parts by "civilian" groups.
I also see stupidity which I attribute to a lack of effective traning and conditioning, such as bunching, aimless milling around, fixed defenses, and in at least one starlite image on the news, a bunch of ijits lighting cigarettes (also bunched at the same time).
Combine this obvious lack of training, with the inability to actually NAME YOUR ENEMY (Moslems), and we are heading down a lethal track.
I only hope and pray that when the day comes, that the chemical agents are brought into the play, our C in C has what it takes to call a withdrawl, and then order the keys turned that will end the war in one billionth of a second.
Keep the faith for Freedom!!

You kinda took the words out of my mouth.
This should call for another trip by President Bush to the mosques - or a 'tolerance speech' backed up with threats. Maybe Powell can have a meeting with them again and tell them how Christians speaking out against Islam are just bigots. Maybe they can once again allow a 'watch list' terrorist in the WH because they don't want to embarrass the Muslims.
This needs to stop and like last year.

So do you think we should outlaw Islam or not? If so, are there any other religions you'd like to see banned?

No, I'm calling him a very smart leader who is dealing well with ruthless enemies at home and abroad. You're the one calling him a liar, and I'm the one calling you a damned fool.
