My mother's friend, who can be just a tad scatter-brained, but who is really a loving soul, (and is half English in heritage-proud of it!) worries that either Blair or Bush will be assassinated. She is being really serious when she says this, and is very concerned for their safety. I have no words to reassure her, though. We are all fearful these days. Our President and Mr. Blair need God's protection, and our prayers.

Agree wholeheartedly. This cosmic battle is always going on but I believe we're seeing it manifested in a huge way around the world right now, on several different fronts, some more obvious than others. In the end, God wins, but it's painful and scary to watch the pre-fights play out.
