Just the fact that they are appearing on CNN is enough for me to know that they are not propaganda of the Amercian gov't. lol.

Sounds to me like the fear of Saddam is starting to wane a little bit. The pendulum may be starting to swing.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Better to have Iraqis shooting at each other than at us but remember that the Shiites hate Saddam only that much more than they dislike us. Time to watch our backs.

The Iraqis are firing their own artillery at their own peopleStatements like this from western democracies show little understanding of the ethnoreligious diversity of the region.
Iraqis are not firing on Iraqis. Suni Muslims with strong ties to the Ba'thist regime are firing on Shi'a muslims with strong ties to Iran.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Hopefully, the British and our own forces will get in their quickly and help and keep it from turning into a blood bath for those rebelling against the fascist Saddamites.
I pray we do, and that it is successful, and sets a pattern and an example for other Shiite and Kurd areas.
