Prior to the Gulf War, I was speaking to a friend of mine, a Navy Captain stationed in D.C., who was responsible for coordinating the medical services for the war. He was worried there might be as many as 50,000 casualties, and from his tone I assumed he was planning accordingly.

Even if this is true, why report it. Doesn't it just get the country down and think we are doing worse than we are. Sounds negative to me, not supportive. Sounds like what a Demo would say.
