Nice photos of the Dahlonga rally. Your blouse even shows up aqua on my screen. As I told you on your rally thread, I have been to Dahlonga (antiqueing) and it is a charming town and the Court House is very special.
To: GailA
Afternoon, Gail. I've got your thread open in another window - waiting for the pics to finish loading. So many wonderful Rallies this weekend - so refreshing to see that the media finally mentioned something besides the anti-war demonstrations, too.

Thank you, Libby! Hope you enjoy the Mardi Gras! :) These Hall of Fame threads are the easiest way for me to 'find' a particular thread - and to keep me on my toes, making sure I keep them updated regularly.

To find them all listed should I just search for Hall of Fame?

Lovely rainbow! I did enjoy the Mardi Gras thread - and learned a lot, as always, from FReepers. Gail, did I hear something about a rally you attended? Link please. I love rally reports! Our report on Taking The Bridge from Anti-War Whiners is here:Rally Report

I am back...took a break to do some ironing and housework and catch up on the war news. My heart is aching for our brave men and women serving. Saw one of the imbedded journalists interviewing a very young Marine who had been in one of the battles yesterday and he asked him "What was going through your mind?" and the young Marine said "I was wondering if today was going to be the day I died".
Sadly, it was for one young Marine.
Gunnery Sgt. Willie Ellerbrock, from the Naval Marine Corps Reserve Center in Long Beach, enters the home of the foster parents of U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Jose Gutierrez, where the flag flies at half staff Monday, March 24, 2003, in Lomita, Calif. Gutierrez is reported to be the first American killed in combat in the Persian Gulf

I sure miss being here as much as I would like to be. I always feel bad when I post and run. I may be able to find some jokes but with the situation of our military, I'm not sure that they would be appreciated.
May God Bless and Comfort the friends and families of the POWs and the casualities of America and our Allies.

Our prayers for our troops have never been more important.
God Bless Our Military
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Below are names of some of our FReepers' loved ones who are serving our country. If you have someone you would like to add, please address a post to Billie; Daisyscarlett; Dansangel; Dutchess; Mama_Bear; and we will add their name to this list. As we pray for them, we pray also for all our nations leaders, and military personnel, and their families and friends. May God hold them close to His heart.
~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.
Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We had two rallies over the week-end.
The Youth Group from Riverdale Assembly of God Church made
the 25 mile drive to Fresno, so we held another Rally!
These young people are wonderful.
