What is the huge fireball towards Greely CO? I work at Denver Center at Longmont and a pilot called reporting a huge fireball towards Greeley. We went outside and the whole sky is lit up and we are aat least 25 miles away.

Agree with the Estirich call. Her and Hack need to have a raspy voice contest.

I would like to see more video of civilians. Uh, unlike Saddam, we do follow Geneva conventions. We don't video tape POWs unless they are being captured, and even then they are not interviewed. Rumsfeld says we have thousands of POWs and I believe him. Another point is that Iraq has sent republic guard officers to keep the regulars in line.
If you mean normal Iraqis I agree.. except.. we know our media. They are despicable. There could be 100 people hopping around shouting alalalalalaa Bush good!! alalalalaa Bush good! and one sour grape whaco in the corner saying Long live Saddam, and the media will say "Mixed feelings.."
Obviously Saddam couldn't maintain his regime if he hadn't brainwashed a percentage of the population. Nonetheless, we have overwhelming evidence that he has tortured, murdered and raped his own people to a degree that nearly the entire populace hates him. They hate him, but they are terrified. They will not speak out until they are certain that Saddam is toppled and we are staying to protect them from Baathists. Once that news goes out across Iraq, we will see celebrations.. (we on FR will, because they will happen.. whether abc, nbc, cbs, cnn actually AIR those celebrations.. who knows).

Greta backpedaled a little bit later, which was nice to see. I think Crystol set her straight about the lack of "dancing in the street"

I'm no Greta fan, but she's 10 times better on Fox than she was elsewhere. I agree that some of her fixations become tiresome. But she is transparent in where she's headed, and she is not against our interests (which I can't say for Jennings and some others)

fertilizer factory. I think Tim McVeigh liked those. I want to see proof one way or the other. Not taking CNN's word on it.
To: Otta B Sleepin
Worth noting. As some other Freeper mentioned, Al Jazeera was invited to have journalists riding along with coalition forces as part of the embedded program.

The B-52's have been hammering the RG. Be patient. Saddam's regime will be THOROUGHLY humiliated.
To: dogbyte12
If this thing picks up, we may have to go to MREs.
