Right now I've given the TV a break til after the local news. Nightline will be replaced tonight by around the clock coverage of the war which began yesterday morning. When I read your post, I was lost by the time I got to the end. When I leaned back in my chair to think about it, your screen name from that distance looked like "Babbling Babboon." At that point, I just decided tht your post wasn't meant to be understood.

Your logic is absolutely reasonable. If the logic fails, then consider the basic assumptions.

You logic only works if you assume Saddam is alive. Drop that assumption and the current scenario makes sense. There is no command structure left and no field General wants to be the one to order the use of the WMD against an enemy about to squash them. We may have really lucked out early in the game here, although I am a firm believer that you make your own luck. Just stick to the 6 P principle.
