RR is doing good work. The good work that the Border Patrol and the DEA are supposed to be doing.

BIG BUMP.
The RR is doing a great service for the law abiding people of this country. I will certainly do some FReeping for them. Thanks for the post.

Is anyone, now, beginning to get a whiff of what is down the road? Neither tinfoil, nor ridiculing tinfoil, will be of much help when all is said and done.

Funny how Ranch Rescue has been around for several years, then, when they (according to SOF mag, with photos and complete video tape) they bust a 300 pound load of DRUGS just a couple of months ago and now they are arrested as heavy handed thugs beating and stealing from the poor innocent less-than-fully-documented immigrant / future voters.

ALL this from the county that brings us Sheriff ERASMO...

"A southern Texas sheriff is warning the public that unidentified armed men dressed in military fatigues have been spotted on numerous occasions in his county near the border with Mexico."

"" For the "country's safety," Sheriff Erasmo Alarcon Jr., of Jim Hogg County, published a letter in a local newspaper to alert citizens of reports he has received for some years from ranchers who have spotted the unknown troops, equipped with "professional backpacks" and walking together in a military cadence. ""

Sheriff `RAS, (Barf Alert)

IMHO  Sheriff `Ras has a lot of motivation somewhere to get the Ranch Rescue volunteers "out of the way" even to the point of issuing press releases within the past week about something that has been going on in his back yard for YEARS.  Apparently, as soon as Ranch Rescue Volunteers showed up they immediately started getting results, and Sheriff `Ras isn't about to have any of that going on in HIS County!

Now magically, the Texas Rangers (!?!) arrive and just happen to be johnny-on-the-spot at a local burger joint to arrest  members of Ranch Rescue for doing what the local land owners have been begging the LEO`s to do for years.
STOP the illegal’s invasion of the united States!

It makes you wonder just WHAT is the motivational factors for a Sheriff in a Texas county that close to the Mexican border?

Back at `cha. this one stinks to high heaven, there is GONNA be a money trail here. I bet the folks in the area are going to break this one wide open as soon as they become aware of their "concerned and thoughtful" Sheriff busted the only real help they seem to be getting.

Surprisingly similar to the reaction of another upstaged sheriff, this one in AZ.

Sounds to me that the local sheriff is profiting from the "use" of these illegals OR is involved in a pay-off with the drug cartel to keep the RR members at bay. Unfortunately.....it seems to be a pattern with some of these small towns.

Yep, a big time money trail. Hell, I'd investigate and follow the Sheriff around for awhile. I bet he is dirty as Hell.

Surprisingly similar to the reaction of another upstaged sheriff, this one in AZ.

For Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada, the drug seizures were an unexpected twist to a situation he had been following because of its dangerous potential. Estrada's primary concern, since he learned of the Ranch Rescue operation, has been what might happen if members encountered typical border-crossers and tried to arrest them.

What might happen is the dopers just might get arrested!

What they did find still worries him.

I`m $ure $anta Cru$ County $heriff Tony E$trada is $o con$erned he i$ ju$t loo$ing $leep over the $ituation!

"The concern is that these individuals, as well-meaning as they may be, could cause a major problem down there," Estrada said. "They don't have the training or the authority to be intercepting loads down there. That's better suited for law enforcement."

Yup!  Local LEO's  are doing such a wonderful job, heck, only about two thirds of the illegals make it across the border and wind up in the u.S. as criminally illegal aliens.
