Sounds like a good time for GB to address the nation.

haven't watched an awards show in many years and I won't be wasting time with this one.
To: Joe Boucher
I can't remember the last one I watched.

And I am sure it will be on bottom of ratings again this year.

I work at nights, so I definitely won't watch. But if I wasn't working, I would definitely not watch with extreme prejudice.

Hey Nikki Finke! Obsess much? You really think Hollywood is that important?
What a steaming pile.
P.S. Oh...of course I'd still love to see this happen.
To: Brett66
It's on Sunday, so I won't be working. So I can definitely not watch this. Consider this show 100% not watched! :)

No argument. The show has always been worhtless. Who care what the "Academy" thinks about the movies? Never understood who watched them, or why.

She's lamenting that fact that the stars won't be able to make political statements this year while they have in the past. She misses the point that they weren't appropriate then, and wouldn't be now.

Me, either.

I think I'll tape the Bristol race on Sunday afternoon and watch it again.

Lately when someone asks if Ive seen a movie, my first question is, "Whos in it?"
I have a dilemma regarding Martin Sheen. He is a leftist idiot, who portrays a Clintoon clone on NBC. But one of my all time favorite movies is Apocalypse Now. There are very few actors I like anymore.

Oh, boy, I'd love to see it happen too!
I bet many don't come; they won't be able to show off their lended gowns and diamonds; no red carpet this year.
Haven't watched the show in years and don't know who half of them are anymore. Haven't gone to the movies since the last Naked Gun movie! The only yucks I got was watching Joan, Melissa, and that guy make catty remarks about what they wore, on their golden hanger award show.
Looks like a good night to watch my tape of "The Shield".

I am finding more and more that some of the best productions are British. They tend to produce classic stories and have a wealth of talent.
To: Paul Atreides
I'm going to watch some old John Wayne and Ronald Reagen movies.

If you havent seen the LOTR movies, I highly recommend them. The Star Wars movies are good, too. I dont know, maybe Im getting old when the mainstream things just dont do anything for me....?

Michael Savage tonight is listing the educational achievements of all these Hollyweird liberals.
"Cher has an 8th grade education, and where are her credentials to pontificate about foreign policy or national security?" (paraphrasing)
He went on to list all the ant-Bush actors and actresses who never finished high school, or flunked out of college.
