I bet on Dean to win the Dim nomination at 25-1...he's down to 8-1 right now. The base loves him...fortunately no one else does.
I'm really getting tired of people claiming over and over again that they hope Sharpton gets a Friday night speaking slot at the Democratic Convention. The conventions only run for FOUR days. Thursday night is the final night. If Sharpton is speaking there Friday night, then the only people who will hear him are the grounds crew.

The field is so weak Dean might do something
esp. since liberal wing will want its candidate
and Kerry certainly will not fit that.
And Dean already seems to be emerging as the favorite
candidate of the left. Look at who else is asking
for that vote Sharpton, Braun, Kucinich they
are easy for Dean to beat out.
The Key is how weak the field is anemic.
If in 2000 the Republican field had been this
weak Keyes could have emerged and won.
This is probably the weakest field ever in
a major party primary even weaker than
92, 76 or 72.
Kerry of course could never win in November anyway.
Joe Lieberman gots the best argument for
the being the strongest November candidate.
Graham might have a strong argument for it
expect his health problems are far
too serious to allow him to be elected President
and should force out the race.
