Dean promotes fiscal discipline and universal health coverage, but the focal point of his candidacy is his demand for continued efforts to disarm Iraq without war.

Another lying Liberal who never lets the truth get in the way of a good story. Maybe he should re-think the focal point of his candidacy in the next....3 or 4 days perhaps?

Kerry looks so much like Muskie it's not funny, and like Muskie I expect Kerry ("the only democrat who can beat George W. Bush") to take his campaign careening off of the tracks on the first lap. This Dean fellow looks like just the kind of dark horse that merits watching.

His biting critiques of President Bush (news - web sites)'s war plans and what he calls Democrats' timidity strike some as angry, but they are just what some frustrated liberals long to hear.

And some frustrated reporters, apparently.

Only liberals employed by newspapers would believe that an anti-war, pro-tax platform is bold, invigorating, and anything other than instant death in a national campaign. Dean is still running for office in the United States, right?

Dean knows how to rouse a crowd but he's too far left to win the presidency

This guy will really score points with the Evangelicals. Seems he was screaming at the top of his lungs about "tired of hearing fundamentalist preachers", etc. He is more liberal than George McGovern.

The only brighter point for conservatives was when John Edwards, our own ambulance-chaser from North Carolina, was loudly booed and hissed when he spoke in support of action against Iraq.

It called him a ''frugal crusader'' who balanced budgets and cut taxes while expanding health coverage and other social services.

This is rich coming from a USSR Today reporter.

Dean is a pro abortion liberal who had no choice but to go along to get along on gun rights in Vermont.

Let's see...governor of a small state comes out of nowhere to run against an incumbent Republican president coming off a victorious war but troubled by a shakey economy? Where have we seen this scenario before?

In the upcoming democratic primary (2004) ...

Register as a democrat and vote for Crazy Al!

Rev. Al Sharpton is officially running for president in 2004.

"I think we need to look at running a black in the primary. I have said I would be available to do it.

Sharpton said the idea came to him while he sat under a tree in Sudan, which he visited in April 2001 on a fact-finding tour about slavery.

Assume GW has the Republican nomination sewn up. Its time for all good republicans, libertarians, and independents to stand up and be counted. Lets take a page from Sen. McCain’s play book. Prior to the 2004 democratic presidential primary in your state, re-register as a democrat and vote for Al Sharpton!

Wouldn’t it be great if Crazy Al won! At the very least, lets ensure he gets Friday night prime time speaking rights at the 2004 nationally televised democratic convention. You gotta love it. Line up, sign up, and send this to all your like-minded friends.

Anyone need a bumper sticker or button?

Anyone know where I can get a yard sign?

Dean will be running on repealing the first tax cut and canceling any further cuts, repealing the ban on partial birth abortion, universal healthcare, and homosexual marriage.

It may sell in Vermont but it's not going anywhere in the south and west.

Oh yeah, he also opposes the administartions policy vis a vis Iraq. A liberal in liberals clothing.

His stance on gun rights is also overrated. He went along to get along.

Bolstered by waves of anti-war sentiment,...

"A FOX News poll conducted this week finds 71 percent of Americans support using U.S. forces to disarm Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and 20 percent oppose. Support has been at about the same level for the last eight weeks." --FoxNews.com

Well, I guess a "wave" is a "wave," whether you're talking about a one-foot swell, or a tsunami.

And he's picking up a few prominent fundraisers, among them actor-director Rob Reiner.

Well, it appears he's got the meathead vote sown up.

Dean is a family doctor, but he often sounds more like the image of a surgeon . . .

Yeah, if the "surgery" in question is abortion.

Give me a freaking break. Kudos to med school grads, but let's be real. GPs typically finished at the lower third of the class, not scoring well enough to qualify for a specialty field. This is a shallow attempt to elevate him to the same professional level as Frist. Ain't going to happen.

Dean promotes fiscal discipline and universal health coverage...

So, anybody from Vermont care to comment on how universal health coverage is working out there? Oh, he hasn't implemented yet? Hmm. I wonder why?

Howard Dean is the mainstream media's candidate of choice this Presidential cycle. It is so transparent. The Left and media sycophants have really built this guy up as a national figure. They did it in 1980 with John Anderson. They did it two years ago with John McCain. They did it in 1968 with Gene McCarthy and then Bobby Kennedy. They look to Dean as the conduit to their fond memories of days gone by.

There hasn't been a President elected from outside the Sunbelt since JFK. If the RATS choose to nominate this guy they will do it knowing it's a suicide mission. They have moved so far Left that they will be seen as marginal at best in two years. This will be especially true after this war. There will be a lot of sheepish grins on these dolts in just a matter of weeks.
