The letter writer was an eyewitness to a "Peace Rally" in downtown Canton, Ohio. I posted his letter as an example of what those who hate President Bush are doing. They are posing as anti-war, but are just democraticunderground.com folks who would oppose the president - no matter what he might try to do.
If you have read the letter and agree with it...you can go to the web site via the link and vote on the "Reader's Choice" Poll and even write a comment about the letter that will appear in tomorrow's paper [online edition.]

They're front groups for our friends the DU dummies.

one of the most eloquent descriptions of what's going on that i've ever seen. makes me want to break some noses -- but i do not care to put my fist where those noses are so thoroughly embedded.

They want UN sanction to attack America.

one of the most eloquent descriptions of what's going on that i've ever seen Basically, my husband said the same thing you did after he read the letter this morning, which is one of the reasons I posted it...I thought folks on FreeRepublic would like to read it too.

This same group would call Bush's administration Iraqi baby, killers if he lifted sanctions and allowed Saddam free reign in his country. After, of course, "Sixty Minutes" devoted an entire program on Bush's support of dictorial regimes.

Yeah you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. The 9-11 hijackers should have tried to reduce San Francisco or Ithaca to smoking ruins. Let's see how understanding the Lefties would have been to an attack in their own strongholds.

This rally took place a couple of weeks ago. A local reporter wrote about the anti-republican theme of the protest...she was blasted via "Letter to the Editor" and comments in the "Comment Section" by the organizers of the "Peace Rally."
They wrote that the reporter showed her bias and even lied about what they said to her and what they said at the rally.
Just the other day, the organizer, Jeff Seemen was kicked out of the comment section for sending an email to a local woman who supports our troops and our president...he told her she was a "spiteful b****"...real nice guy.

William Hardie III,
You could have been describing what I saw on January 18th in DC.

Let's see how understanding the Lefties would have been to an attack in their own strongholds.they'd blame america. or they'd say that the attack was actually done by the bush administration.
these losers, requiring neither reason nor evidence, and observing neither reason nor evidence, will stick to their stalinist/maoist doctrines no matter what.
to paraphrase jefferson, the tree of liberty must be watered from time to time with the blood of traitors. it is argued that the things detailed in the article above are our great strength. sometimes i wonder.

Duh? Hey. There are a lot of folks who have NO idea what is going on at the "Peace Rallies". They think the rallies are about peace...they have no idea they are about Anti-Bush rhetoric and hatred of Republicans.
To: ResistorSister
If there were truth in advertising, it would be more accurate to call them anti-America rallies.

This little squirt is another stain on the Democrat Party dress. Good One!
Here is a picture of the little squirt fisting the crowd at his "Anti-Republican Rally" on Feb. 16, 2003.

Repository / Bob Rossiter PROTESTING. Jeff Seemann,
organizer of a peace rally protesting a U.S. war with Iraq,
leads nearly 200 people chanting anti-war slogans
on Central Plaza downtown Canton on Saturday.
Their protest march started in the 800 block
of Market Avenue N.

These rallies are falsely reported as "peace" rallies but really have almost nothing to do with peace and almost everything to do with politics. It's not a "duh" situation at all.

If there were truth in advertising, it would be more accurate to call them anti-America rallies.Or . . . Campaign 2004 and charge the Democratic National Committee with the costs.
That's all any of this madness is. The leftists are getting free advertising and the French, Germans, Russians, and Chinese are trying to decide FOR US who our next President will be. Six more years of GW is their second worst nightmare. Their worst nightmare is to have eight years of a GW-clone to follow him!
And ya know what? Both camps are currently getting away with it. No one in the media is REALLY challenging any of this nonsense. The only ones who are even starting to figure all this out is us FReepers.
I would like for those who disagree to please explain why else France, Germany, Belgium, Russia, and China are dogging our heels like Chihuahuas on steroids. They don't share many views. They don't have the same forms of government. They have varied ambitions. So why are they marching in lockstep now? THEY WANT GW GONE!! Pee Wee Clinton spoiled them and the leftist feel-gooders and they don't like the new Sheriff who took over because he'll, alas, actually do something instead of debate it for decades.
So . . . be warned. Even if you don't agree, please, please keep it in mind when you read of all the madness going on around us. It's up to us to do something about it.

I'm really surprised to find, when I checked, that the little squirt has a publicly listed address and phone number there in Canton.
I was not so surprised to discover his extremely heavy involvement in the "Dark Side". This morning he couldn't wait to tell all the other rats about this letter to the editor.

The Repository (newspaper where the letter to the editor is published) has an online comment section. Seemenn probably wants his fellow DUs to blast the letter writer in the comment section of the Repository.
Hopefully, a few folks will compliment the letter writer.

Why does this remind me of the Wellstone "funeral"?
