Texas woman who ran over her no-good cheating husband, three times.

Correction:

Texas woman who ran over (probably once) her no-good, cheating, wife-beating, child abusing, self-centered, childish, very hot tempered, toupee wearing husband. Because her step-daughter was working at daddy's office and found out about the affair and then convinced her step-mom (Clara) to chase daddy around until they caught him up with him and his bimbo. Who he was supposed to breaking it off with but was not.

Clara Harris, the Texas woman that was the brains behind the business (she owned 51% by the way) that kept David Harris in fine houses like the one they had back in Polly Ranch, fine cars, fine fake hair and made sure David had anything he wanted. Like a $100k piano so David could play in his special music room.

Clara Harris, the woman who loved David Harris so much she would not let her attorneys drag his name through the mud. The woman who's in-laws supported her because they knew what a jerk David was and because David's dad was the same way when he was younger, screwing everything he could when he worked for the Pearland schools as principal.

Clara Harris, the Texas woman that everybody liked and that you could not find one person who would say a bad thing about before the accident in front of the Nassau Bay Hilton.

Clara Harris, a woman that lost her mind for a few minutes and now will spend many years in jail. Too many years in some people's opinion. Because she is already in her own hell.

Clara Harris, a woman that made the mistake of having children with a man that was a child himself.

Clara Harris, a woman that loved her husband to death....

Uh, why did Ford select her? Wouldn't Dodge Ram trucks (Daimler-Chrysler, i.e. Benz) have been the logical endorsement?

How much would you like to bet? Since it's a losing bet for you just name the amount.

You might ponder what I posted. Then respond to it or ask me why I said what I did. Instead using a technique like the leftist/Democrats do and making a snide comment about Saddam Hussein. See how that works? I just called you a leftist/Democrat by comparison. Does that make it true?

Sometimes some Freepers are closer to stories than others. Sometimes some of us know those involved. Consider that before you make some silly and insulting comparison like you did here with me.

OJ was a great provider and a nice guy too, save for that little "incident."

What? I can see the "provider" comparison but O.J. did not have a reputation of a "nice guy". Simpson had a history of violence toward his ex-wife. Nicole called the police several times to report Simpsons violent behavior. Did you ever hear the audio tapes of the 911 calls?

In 1989, the police responded to an emergency call and arrested Simpson for spousal battery. Although he did not contest the charges, Simpson received no jail time for the offense. Instead, he was fined and ordered to undergo counseling.

Sorry, but comparing O.J. Simpson to Clara Harris does not work.

Texas woman who ran over (probably once)

WRONG! It was verified that she executed three passes.

her no-good, cheating,

Adultery is not a capital offense.

wife-beating,

Unverified.

child abusing,

Unverified.

self-centered,

Being self-centered is not a capital offense.

childish,

Being childish is not a capital offense.

very hot tempered,

Being very hot tempered is not a capital offense.

toupee wearing husband.

Wearing a toupee is not a capital offense.

Because her step-daughter was working at daddy's office and found out about the affair and then convinced her step-mom (Clara) to chase daddy around until they caught him up with him and his bimbo. Who he was supposed to breaking it off with but was not.

And she then tells stepdaughter "I can kill him and get away with it."

That establishes mens rea, the wrongful intent.

Clara Harris, the Texas woman that everybody liked and that you could not find one person who would say a bad thing about before the accident in front of the Nassau Bay Hilton.

That was no "accident." That was an "on-purpose."

Clara Harris, a woman that lost her mind for a few minutes and now will spend many years in jail.

Her remark to her daughter indicates that she was in full command of her faculties, knew that running her husband was wrong, and that she was proceeding on the assumption that she could avoid the predictable consequences of said action.

Clara Harris, a woman that made the mistake of having children with a man that was a child himself.

Clara Harris, an ex-"other woman" who helped break up Mr. Harris' previous marriage, and was SHOCKED! to discover that he was indulging in that behavior AGAIN.

Ladies: if he's willing to engage in an extramarital affair with you, he's probably willing to do it with another sweet young thang twenty years from now.

If that happens, you are not a victim; you are a volunteer.

Clara and David were already divorced when they met.

However, if that's the only quibble you have with my rant, you've been pretty thoroughly Fisked.

Texas woman who ran over her no-good cheating husband, three times.

Yes, I watched the videos. She ran over him three times but how many times is not really relevant. Once would have been sufficient to be charged with murder. However, running over him three times aggravated the case.

Also, in this case she told her step-daughter, "I could kill him and get away with it." That shows premeditation. Imo, she should have gotten the death penalty. However, 20 years seems like a good compromise between those who wanted the death penalty and those who thought she should walk.

At any rate, she'll never practice dentistry again and her fortune will be eaten up by lawsuits and lawyers. ( Knowing what she did I would never let her work on my teeth. She might suddenly "snap" again. ) She'll walk out of prison a pauper. In the final analysis justice has been served.

If the shoe was on the other foot and he had run over her everyone would have been screaming for his head on a platter.

I was already aware of most of the other things you said. Whether or not everything else you said is true you seem to be implying, ( even condonihg, ) adultery justifies murder. Adultery justifies divorce, not murder.

Last Thursday's revolting PrimeTime special followed Clara Harris' attorneys' failed attempt to fool a jury into slapping her on the wrist. It seems like Diane Sawyer was campaigning to make Clara Harris a folk hero the same way feminist journalists have did two decades ago with Jean Harris.

Jean Harris, a prim and proper headmistress of a tony private school, shot and killed Scarsdale Diet guru Dr. Herman Tarnower in his sleep what she melodramatically insisted was a botched suicide attempt. Apparently, Tarnower was "cheating" on Jean H. (they were not married), and this fact garnered support for Jean H. among the same he-got-what-was-coming-to-him crowd that would be whining about "violence against women" if it was Tarnower who somehow missed his own temple and shot his girlfriend as she slept.

I still remember an interview with Jean Harris -- I believe it was done by Barbara Walters -- in which she was asked about why she didn't seem to show any outward grief about Tarnower's death. She then spontaneously started bawling like a wet infant in a display that I couldn't personally believe anyone actually bought.

A jury didn't buy it either -- she was convicted of murder, and served fifteen years in prison. Shortly thereafter two TV-movies were made about her case (back when that was unusual), with Hollywood actresses banging on the doors of producers for the right to portray her.

Clara and Jean Harris' stories have the same soapy elements -- an accomplished, intelligent woman thinks she has found her equal in an attractive, rich gentleman who, out of nowhere, finds a young homewrecking plaything for whom he is willing to chuck her. He is dispatched in messy fashion, and the man-haters conceal their giggles of glee with somber concern for the trauma of the murderer person whose mistreatment caused the despair that led her to such a desperate action.

Feminists can be counted on to protest violence against women, but are not so reliable when it comes to violence against men by women.

Not in mine. 'Losing your mind' and running over a person deliberately are two different things. People lose their minds all the time. Most of them don't kill other people, even if they were "asking for it" (Bonny Lee Bakley is an excellent example).

Because she is already in her own hell.

Putting yourself in your own hell should have no bearing on how long you are separated from society.
