Does anyone think the police went through any effort to ensure that any stolen firearms were returned to their rightful owners(*)?
(*) If someone's firearm is stolen and they collect insurance for the theft, the insurance company becomes the rightful owner of the firearm if it's recovered [though I believe in most cases it would be possible for the theft victim to 'buy back' the firearm by reimbursing the funds the insurance paid for it]. Many firearms, however, are stolen from ininsured people, who would very much like to get them back.

How about some more of that "
fuzzy math"...
Boxes of marijuana 500 pounds, in all ...
...the marijuana had a street value of about $1 million...Somebody is having "fun with the numbers".
