That's why the fleet of F-16s was never delivered to Pakistan.

Wasn't the delivery suspended because of Pakistan's nuke-testing?

After a little checking here's the answer. The jets were held back because "Intelligence information reaching US authorities indicated that Pakistan was actively working on a nuclear bomb, had received a design for a bomb from China, had tested a nuclear trigger, and was actively producing weapons-grade uranium."

You were closer than I although I knew China was in there somewhere.

hey chief, I never said you were disloyal. I ain't gonna go down this stupid road with you.
I overreacted. I was in a pissy mood and took your comment in an offensive manner.

I am a staunch supporter of Israel but it's not a blind support.

I doin't blindly support any country. My loyalty is to the US unless it becomes a socialist dictatorship or until the Messiah comes.

Which brings me back to the original topic - China. I hope you are right about xfers to China but somehow I am unconvinced.
I wish. The US state Department and Israeli defense establishment are petty fiefdoms who dislike each other.

Boy it's never easy to criticize Israel around here 'cause it seems a conservative Jew will tag you with the anti-Semitic tag just as quick as a liberal one.
1. I never called you an anti-semite.
2. I don't call people anti-Semites just because they are anti-Israel. (Although there is a high correlation)
3. I was angry at RCW2001 for reprinting this, even though it should be settled.

Every time the U.S. government asks the Israeli government to cancel an arms shipment to China, Israel complies. Israeli arms sales to China were done at the behest of the Clinton administration, since Congress (and not just the Republicans) would have opposed direct sales. Sales continue only when the Bush administration does not deem them inappropriate.

That $8 billion in loan guarantees (not aid) you refer to buys a lot of Israeli loyalty, even if you don't see it.
