Containment Theory, as originally formulated by diplomat George Kennan, stated that America had to aggressively confront the power of the Soviet Union, wherever the latter made inroads, or threatened to make them. The main means of confrontation was in putting American troops in the Soviets' path. Containment must be a good theory, because the Democrats are following it in the Senate.

LOL! Unfortunately, they are using a theory devised for dealing with a foreign enemy, against their own government.

You know a theory must be correct if liberals say that it is 'disproven.'

Of course, when they say a theory is "untrue," or has "been disproven," they could care less about the truth. All they are saying, is that the theory does not serve their political agenda. As the Red Guard used to say, "Truth comes from practice."
