OK - he is definitely a Muslim whose parent were Pakistani immigrants.

His father videotaped his last will and testament to him thusly:

It is no leap of faith therefore, to assume that his father's final dramatic gesture had a lasting impact on Mansoor. It is equally safe to assume that Mansoor was already on the radar of the American intelligence agencies because of his obvious brilliance, his parentage, his business skills and his connections. No doubt, they also noticed his growing contributions to the Democratic Party. Indeed, he was singled out in 1994 by the Democratic National Committee which had by then recognised that he was more than just a source of funds.

I take this opportunity to stand in defense of Mansoor Ijaz here in my FR home. Mansoor Ijaz is a man of character and honorable, to be listened to in the main for he has deep expertise you and I will never have access to except through men such as Mansoor ... and he offers his aid to this nation, his nation and ours, willingly, gladly, in this war.

What Mansoor tried to get across to Bill was, 'Why don't you have the Factor staff dig into these Imams fostering radicalism and give to them the same in-depth treatment you gave to Arian that exposed his treachery.' THAT would give moderate, peaceful American Moslems incentive to reject these radical goons, and ease the growing blind tension of those filling with blood lust toward terrorists but letting it slide toward peaceful Moslem citizens!

That some on this thread have chosen to misunderstand Mansoor's objective on the Factor is disheartening since O'Reilly clearly understood but disagreed that he had any responsibility to do as Mansoor was pushing for. I sympathize with the precarious position of peaceful Moslem Americans, but I must agree with Bill O'Reilly, The Factor has no obligation to do as Mansoor suggested ... though it would be a monumental help in our positioning against terorism from the radical Islamicists. Perhaps Bill will reconsider and undertake to do as Mansoor suggested, expose the goons for the bullying radicals they are.

O'Reilly didn't investigate Al Arian,others did that. He exposed him to the nation,put a face to the arrogant jerk who smirked and spun his activities. Masoor(sp) was pressing Bill to investigate others in the muslim community who are promoting terror.Bill wants the non threatening muslims to speak up.He told Masoor he wasn't the cia. Masoor said he would try to bring some people for Bill to interview. It was very heated and hard to see what Masoor was after . This is my take.

He said it ,I believe , in fear. The interview was cut off as tv has time constraints. If I were a muslim wanting to live my life peacefully among Americans,I would fear more terrorism as I would be suspected at best and harmed at worst.

It should have been quoted - Mansoor Ijaz did actually say:

"And, I'm telling you that it is creating a basement that is going to retaliate against the American people in a way we have never seen before!"

And he said it with deep and deliberate intent to convey the message in the strongest sense possible - a warning.

Sounds like something right out of the Islamic PsyOps Manual. It's making me think thoughts I've never thought before. The problem with these crazies is they think they can export the 'Palestinian solution' to America. Too bad. Islam will fall for the third time. Too bad for us they choose 'suicide by cop.'

I think Ijaz probably planned from the git-go to gain the confidence of the American public before slowly (and as inconspicuously as possible) changing his tune, while dragging enough sheep along with him to make it all worthwhile. ....And he's smart and articulate enough to get the job done.

Arabs are an ethnic and linguistic group. They are a semitic people whose boundaries are Iran in the East and Europe and Africa in the West and the South. Phsyically, they (and the Iranians and Northern Paks) can often pass for Southern Europeans (Sicilians, Greeks, etc.).

Indians are largely part of the Dravidian racial group as are some southern Paks. Northern Paks may have Arab or Iranian blood-- but mostly central Asian and Mongolian blood.
