Screaming the truth at people entering an abortion mill is an exercise in free speech. Screaming what you think is truth at people entering an abortion clinic is free speech. The press coverage that will follow is free speech too, as is their running commentary on it. Ultimately, it will be seen as a bunch of men (mostly members of a Catholic Church that has a monstrous sex problem) who get their rocks off intimidating teenaged girls.
That is the true public face of your movement, and coupled with comments from your compatriots regarding how women must bear the pregnancies that result from rape, will split the GOP in two.
Thanks for making the Democrats the majority party.

Thanks for making the Democrats the majority party. Gee, the last time I looked the Republicans were the Majority party in the Senate, the house, the majority of governorships and we have a pro-life president.
Now in the Early 1990's when Operation Rescue was just getting started we had a Democratic President, the Democrats were in charge of the Senate, the House and most of the Governorships.
Now if Operation Rescue has been responsible for a paradigm shift in the political landscape then the paradigm shift has been dramatically to the right.
So despite your pro-choice leanings and your sympathy for abortionists, the tide has turned away from the baby killers and is leaning more and more to the side of Randall Terry and his merry band of "lunatics." Praise the Lord.

Three questions:
1. Do you support, or oppose a rape exception to any scheme of law outlawing abortion.
2. Would you have forced the 9 year old in Nicaragua to bear a child.
3. Do you require absolute, beyond all reasonable doubt proof that a pregnancy to term will kill a mother before you will allow an abortion.
4. Do you oppose giving a rape victim a D&C, or abortifacient drugs immediately after a rape, on the basis that a human soul may have been created?
I assure you - I'll be asking these questions of every GOP candidate for office in my area, and I hope others will do the same.

I support having each of those issues decided by the legislatures of the various states. Just like it was BEFORE Roe v. Wade. Just like the Constitution envisioned.
Roe v. Wade took this whole matter out of the political realm and thus the only recourse for people who believe this to be murder is civil disobediance. Those people have no political voice because it is no longer a political issue. It became strictly a judicial issue. If there were no Roe v. Wade, there would never have been an Operation Rescue.

Of course, this is the true measure of how willing you are to stop a majority of abortions - your willingness to compromise on your on the people most harshly affected - those who aren't going to be impressed by your religious scruples, since utilitarian reasons are the only ones permissible by law.
The general public isn't going to be impressed by your answers to this, nor is the general public real pleased by your doctrines on contraception. You can enlighten us as to those, too.

I support having each of those issues decided by the legislatures of the various states. Just like it was BEFORE Roe v. Wade. That wasn't my question. I want to know how you feel, personally. I don't want to talk about Roe - I want to talk about your underlying agenda, what you intend to champion.

I want to know how you feel, personally. Geez spoken like a true blue knee jerk liberal. You don't care about the constitution. You don't care about the law. You don't care about the political process. You don't want to hear about what an abortion the Roe v. Wade decision was. Noooooooo!!!!!!
All you care about is how I FEEL about your little pet issues, which are nothing more than straw men. Frankly I don't care about how anyone FEELS about abortion. I want to know what they THINK about the LAW and the POLITICAL PROCESS.
You claim that the General Public isn't going to like this or that? Well lets overturn Roe v. Wade and put this issue back where it belongs, in the political arena rather than in the judicial arena.
Are you afraid to put this up to a vote? Are you afraid of the political process? Do you think that the Judiciary is where this problem is best solved?
What do you THINK?

And BTW - I'm not afraid of the political arena - Operation Rescue and their enforcement arm, the "Army" of God (kinda like the IRA) will screw that up for y'all.

I wonder though - in your sick little world, will you smile and congratulate a woman who has been raped if she turns up pregnant? Go directly to Hell. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

"I want to ... I want to ..." CP You want to play gotcha all over FR, inciting as much discord as you can. You are a pissant (small insect of little worth and a great nuisance) with an agenda, to support the dehumanization of preborn individual human beings as if it's enlightenment to do so. You've adequately proven your service to the slaughter with your incessant drone. Bitterness and condescension drip from your nihilistic posts. Your self aggrandizement is laughable in the main, for you expose your inadequacies as an amusement for all reading your baiting, petty, small-minded screeds. If we ignore you, you will pout, but you are worthy of no further acknowledgement, pissant (small insect of little worth, nothing more than a nuisance).

Well said. But your comparison of CP to a pissant is a gross slander of pissants. CP is so low he would have to climb a ladder to ride a pissant.

Some might label such satanic behavior as simply.

...simply satanic.

His name is palpy.
Palpy posts show that he truly loves abortion.
Palpy loves abortion becuase then a man can rape at will and kill the resulting child.
Palpy is a pro-abort of the worst kind: he pretends to care about the dignity of the human person but really he only cares about each person's utility.
To: P-Marlowe
Palpy loves abortion and abortifacient birth control because he thinks sex is an absolute right 24/7, damn the consequences and any other lives that may result from such sex.
Palpy posts show that he clearly loves abortion.

I meant to flag you to my 511. I think he'd better get used to hearing those words. He will hear them again someday... and not from me. His response will probably be something like...
Oh Nooooo!!!!!

What happened to CP's post 509? I didn't push the abuse button. I wanted it there for posterity. It was so sick and twisted it needed to be framed. Everyone needs to know what kind of people argue for abortion.
Bummer.

Why was I pinged to this thread?
I don't ever recall coming across your username before in discourse with me.
And frankly, I don't have a dog in this fight.
I live in Ireland..and quite frankly the abortion debate is one I don't actively engage in. I personally wouldn't have one EVER. I have close friends who have chosen that route. They remain my friends.
