The first Bobby McFerrin tune I hear on the cruise, I'll know who to blame. And I'll come after you with a loop tape of "Weekend in New England" by Barry Manilow.

Don't think I won't.

Remember "Telephone Man" by Merri Wilson?

Yup! "He hung it in the closet, and he hung it on the wall..."

The mental images were NOT pretty.

CW McCall is Chip Davis - founder of Mannheim Steamroller. He started American Gramophone with the proceeds of Convoy. (That bit of trivia scored me two tix to Mannheim about 12 Christmases ago!)

Don't be threatening a guy who had Japanese and Thai girls swooning with his Karaoke renditions of EVERY one of John Denver's hits!

I can fight fire with fire!

The things you learn on FR. I did not know that. About the only really useless tidbit of music trivia I have in my arsenal is the name of the group who did "In the Year 2525" (think 'one-hit wonder').

I really believe the worst song ever was Honey by Bobby Goldsboro: (See the tree how big it's grown, but, friend, it hasn't been too long, it wasn't big ...)

Not many remember that one. I keep trying to go to bed but the awful memories keep me stuck in front of the screen. I leave you with Mouth and McNeil -- "How do you do -ooh ooh-" etc and good night!! This time I really mean it!! Don't be posting another Carpenters song or England Dan & John Ford Coley!! Enjoyed it!
