ROTFL. Thanks for the link, RC. Actually what I did send last night (or the night before, I can't remember for sure) was a note to William Safire. The Times had published no less than four letters attacking his "Yes-But" column on sneaky opponents to the war who won't admit what they're up to. The Times refused to publish a single letter supporting Safire -- and one letter was from a classic "Yes, Butter" who claimed to seek the ouster of Saddam, but clearly supported the Butcher.

Rather than waste my time writing to the Times, which hasn't published any of my letters since 1997, I wrote Safire instead, telling him that the fact that his editors refused to publish letters supporting him, didn't mean that he lacked for reader support.
