[[ Well, I guess those 5,000 American Soldiers SUING the Chemical Companies are just sissies, RIGHT? ]]I did not say that. Again you presume to put words in my mouth. Furthermore, if you had actually read the thread, you would know that I included information on Gulf War Syndrom being caused, in all likelyhood, by exposure to chemical weapons during the war.
And, after three lengthy replies, it is becoming obvious that you have not read the information I presented and have become hung up on the opening paragraphs. You might try reading the thread before you try to destroy it.

Here is where ignorance is dangerous. Did the Army test bug disemination? Yes in Hawaii as well as SF and elsewhere. But htis article would have people believe that the actual agent being studied were used. In fact, this type is testing was done with viruses that cause minor illnesses that would cause people to exhibit flu-like symptoms and then monitoring how many people go to the doctor or call in sick.
Was it wrong to do so. Yes. But they weren't spraying people with sarin and vx as the article would suggest, and as several of your own sources would state if you had gone into them as deeply as you stated.

BUT, WHY TAKE MY WORD....? Question: How does any of this argue against removing Saddam? You're making my case for me, even if you don't see it. Your whole argument seems to be that because we did something wrong in the past (in the context of a Cold War against Communism, if you care to remember), we should sit on our hands while someone else prepares to do worse.
Where is the logic in that?

"This is the supposed help we gave to Iraq. We did not give the Iraqis germ weapons or the equipment to make them...." REALLY? I'm sure you're no doubt correct..but HOW do you explain THESE LITTLE ITEMS: Yes. Really. And none of the links you provided, while informative, refute that statement. So what is your point?

AAAAAHHHHH, waddoo THEY noe??????? That's a lot of great information. As someone who was on standby to go to the Gulf myself, I hope those vets win their case.
But, as I said before, none of this militates against taking action against Saddam. If we don't, then "Gulf War Syndrom", and much worse, could be in the future of all of us.
Soviet scientists who used to work on super bugs for mother Russia are doing it now for Iran, Iraq and others. They have to be stoppped before novels like "Cobra Event" become reality.

If you read some of the links, you will find that the U.S. Government has ALREADY spread BioChem "harmless simulants" across the landscape. I am aware of that. And anyone who reads the links and sources that I provided will be, too.
