(Babylon -- you have been weighed in the balance and been found wanting!)
To: Pokey78
They're going to get a lot of Frenchmen mad with this ........ and I'm sure they'll surrender when that happens.

By the way, both The Sun and the NY Post are Rupert Murdoch papers. They've both been going for the throat the past few weeks - my hats off to the man.

Oh, ho, ho. Gotta love the French, though -- they're always there when they need us.

God, I love Rupert Murdoch. (And Rebekah Wade too, the new editrix of The Sun.)

arrogantly strutting about trying to make France seem more important in the world than it really is.
Couldn't have said it better myself!

This is actually a one sided printed broadsheet. The reverse is blank--so the French can use it in an emergency.

(Chirac needs a Sacre-Blu-115!)

I think we are missing the point here. I suggest that the french( lower case intentional) are born in a state of "original surrender," somewhat akin to "original sin," but a Gallic variant.
The french, therefore, are not waiting to surrender because they already exist in a state of capitulation!
To: Pokey78
Absolutely priceless! Nobody else would have the ummmmm.. guts.. to say what needed to be said.
