Seems to me the people who say you said the shuttle had exploded over California don't understand the difference between the shuttle exploding and the shuttle being on fire. If parts had not been burning, I find it difficult to believe the astronomer in California would have seen the parts falling off.

Hey yah, Howlin -- did you know that a fire is a form of a "plasma" -- so much like that, a plasma can properly be called a fire. And too, at best none of knows yet that that shuttle or parts thereof were not burning -- alumninum frame, the carbon parts and epoxies on the leading edge and wing, etc -- over California.
You do go far to find a slight, a knock, don't you? TLBSHOW was spot on, you have been petty, willing to bang him at the slightest of whims and twists of meaning. Can you look for the good and ignore the noise? Why does do you refuse even a begrudging acknowledgment that maybe he was right and you were running the short fuze?

It wasnt a glow that spread back like a comet but it must have been "on fire" because it was bright and big. I see the descriptive words "bright" and "big" and the phrase "on fire" in quotes, implying it looked like fire but wasn't believed to be fire. Nothing in the tone of the post implied trouble. Leadpenny's "como" problem is the first published indication of trouble.

In his booming Norwegian voice he would say, "I'm a gonna uh hit you over the uh head with the uh ball-peen hammer." How many whacks did you get? It helps explain alot about you now;^)

Tell it to somebody you know who might buy that parsed, twisted explanation.

You really are too dumb to realize that the re-entry started over Hawaii, aren't you? It wasn't on fire in Hawaii OR California. No matter how many times you post it.

He was trying to make sense of things just like most other people. Some people think sense is already made -- by someone else, and gee the rest of us better buy into that offically approved by the Howlin Gang authority.

I clearly understand what "shuttle exploding," "shuttle on fire," and "shuttle disentigrating" mean. Unlike some here.

I had to duck out for an hour earlier just to get headache medicine after she appeared! You type that like you think leadpenny might agree with you. You, I don't care about, but somehow I think once again you're trying to draw somebody into something they don't want to be drawn in to.

Anyway, based on the article that began this thread, TLB was correct. It's not surprising that you tried to change the topic of discussion.

I understand English words; and I understand when it's being twisted.
That being said, your last reply makes no sense at all.
But since you seem to need to have the last word on me, go right ahead. I'd be bothered if you agreed with me.

So you're saying that this article states that the shuttle was on fire when it was over California and it exploded? I must have missed that.
It's not surprising that you tried to change the topic of discussion.
Since I was the topic of discussion on this thread way before I got here, I hardly consider setting the record straight "changing the topic of discussion."
