Rally on capitol steps shows support for force against Iraq, President BushIt must be a lot of fun to be a headline writer. First the article about a prisoner hiding crack in an orifice, and now this one - the headline sounds like the people at the rally support the use of force against President Bush.

Heh heh - you're right - but maybe it will lure some anti-Bush jerks in to read it.

Enterprising reporters with videocams and good lenses could have made these 300 look like 300,000.
They were probably all busy filming the anti-war marches.

The Coloradans, waving American flags and holding signs saying war is bad, evil is worse say those who oppose war are not using common sense That's because common sense and liberalism are mutually exclusive.

Brad Hagstrom and his wife Mariana came down from Fort Collins and came to the rally thinking it was an anti-war protest.BRAD: "Oh, like wow, man. Far out! We're so like anti-war, man. Hey...who are these people, like NOT protesting Bush and war, man? Mariana, lets go home and finish our tie-dyed Saddam headbands."

God bless you Colorado.
This from a native son who made the greivous mistake of taking a job in the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia. A day doesn't go by that I don't regret the move, there really is more to life than money.
Keep up the good work.
Former Broomfield resident.

very nice....
may their tribe increase...
It would be nice to put about 26 million patriots on the capitol house steps of every one of our states... and the courthouse steps of every city in america.
I wonder where we could get the IRAQI and French flags for burning... and a few straw men modeled after the three stooges... shredder, chirac and their love child... sadaam...
"all peaceful" and such....

On a related matter, I saw Danny Glover's idiotic anti-war braying on TV; since MCI hires him to do commerciaqls, we should all them their spokesperson will cost them business. Then switch companies if you have MCI. I just changed from them, or I'd do it now.
Also, I saw a 5 year old who "protested" with her mommy. The child recited her favorite anti-Bush slogan from a sign, something like "Don't drop bombs, drop Bush". Another mindless liberal in the making, a complete waste of a cute kid.

300 supporters may not appear to be much of a public display when compared with the (ever changing numerical estimates) reports of "qazillions marching against the war."
Two points:
(1) Just 1,000 determined Spartans, standing at the pass of Thermopoly (pardon my spelling), were sufficient to stop the Persians and to save what was to be later recognized as the roots of western democracym and civilization; and
(2) "any man more right than his neighbor constitutes a majority of one." (Henry David Thoreau)
