IMHO, these transnational corporations are largely responsible for the demise of our manufacturing infrastructure as they manipulate our trade policies in their quest for lower priced components and raw materials.

And to escape the corrupt unions and their insane work rules.

And all this info came off the communist manifesto of the United Auto Workers union.

It was actually compiled by Automotive Industries News, but is no longer available on their website.
I was fortunate to salvage a copy from the Google cache.

FYI, the new Reform political party's website, the so-called "AmericaFirstParty.org" is registered in Australia!

The UAW enjoys a parasitic/symbiotic relationship with The Big Three.
If anti-trust regulations had been enforced to keep this industry more fragmented and competitive, the UAW would never have gained the power that it has.

"Here in the United States, the government is even willing to jeopardize our National Security with the collapse of our steel industry to facilitate automotive profits."

Oh Bull Puckey Willie Green. Our steel industry has been gone for years......because of the Unions. Repeat UNIONS. Greed, twelve weeks vacation and Union leaders leading the Vegas life. That is nobody elses fault except the US.

Not quitting, you now want to push some expansive trains and rail systems that will, guess what, involve UNIONS.

We don't need some stupid rail system from Carlisle thru Harrisburg to Lancaster for the sake of the unions. Honest, Rt 81 and 283 works fine in my car while I have a beer.

On the proposed Pittsburgh system, don't get me started. Look at the example system in DC, multiply the cost by 30 and tell me its justified. Naaa. No thanks.

How splendid. A Japanese company with a Japanese hierarchy and good jobs for Japanese engineers. Goodness knows there are enough foreigners around who know how to use mops and screwdrivers.

On the proposed Pittsburgh system, don't get me started.

Maglev? Unlike rail, airlines and highways, it wouldn't be hindered at all by the current snowfall you're experiencing.
Maglev hovers about 6" above its guideway.
And the guideway itself is elevated well above any drifting snow.
What little snow that may accumulate would be quickly blown-off by the wind and simply drop to the ground.

Look at the example system in DC

That's not Maglev.

And sadly, 63,000 citizens of the state showed up to apply for the 1200 positions. This is a victory for Green, no a loss. Get your facts, registered.
