Hey you two! Good to FReep with you yesterday and demonstrate together that there are a few sane "young" people out there!
Would you like to be added to my Bay Area Chapter ping list? You could just get as involved as you like, but you'd be notified about all of our events.

Bay Area Freepers:
We are planning on having our first official Bay Area Chapter meeting on 3/15. Ill be posting information about that very soon, so stay tuned for the details.
After the success of our SF counter-protest yesterday, a few of us thought it would be a good idea to capitalize on the momentum and meet a little sooner, to do some brainstorming, organizing and planning.
So weve planned an earlier meeting for next Saturday, 2/22, at 1pm at the Pacific Coast Brewing Company in Oakland. Its right near a BART stop (12th St.) and Drango has already checked it out and found it suitable for a meeting of this kind. Luckily they also have a web site, which includes directions. Click here for that info.
So come on down----any and all are welcome---well be just as happy if 5 people show up as 50! Please FReepmail me if you are planning on coming, so we can keep a head count.
Also, if anyone is interested in being added to the Bay Area Chapter ping list, send me a FReepmail and let me know.

THANK YOU so much for all you did to help us stand up to the Uninformed Hordes on Sunday in SF!
After all the interviews we did, including extensive talks with at least one Chronicle reporter, I was disappointed to log on to the Chronicle today and discover that there was only ONE counter-protestor -- a "lone hawk in camoflage." I'm glad I complained to the reporters how they've silenced us for so long, and we are 50%+ of the populace -- that's why the mainstream press is losing ground to the Internet and talk radio. Well, they didn't hear us... they are still up to their tricks of trying to ignore our voices. I must admit, it's very hard to stay positive... Maybe we should do a 'post-mortem' to fine-tune before next time.
But being with you all yesterday was a pleasure and a privilege!
BTW, Dave/comwatch, that's me talking to David Gold in your photo! Thanks for including me! -Jerez/Cheryl

Excert, from the CoCo times.
ContraCosta Times The rest of the article is mostly about how normal the anti-war wackos are...read it if you want. It's too long to waste binarys on.
....Kathleen Willmann of Novato, who stood with other Bush supporters, said she was at a loss to understand the protesters and felt threatened by them.
"How are we going to get rid of these maniacs. I don't understand why they can't see the connection. It's so obvious that Saddam has a connection with terrorism," said Willmann, who donned a Fire Department of New York baseball cap.
"These signs saying 'Assassinate Bush,' these are peaceful activists? I've never felt such rage and anger."....

Yes we felt pretty bad about it. 60 of us, and only 150,000 of them.
2500:1, and we still had 'em out thought.
Too much publik skool, too many drugs, and lots of intelectshul inbreeding in that crowd.
For example, one reporter asked me to name the countries boardering Iraq. So I ticked off all 5. Then she said they weren't able to find anyone on the other side who could name more than one or two.
One heckler wanted to know if I was from Texas.
No ma'am.
Florida then?
Yes ma'am.
Well THAT explains it!!!
I said yup, I was born in California, and I lived in Florida for a few years 35 years ago.
Somehow in her pea brain that made me a cowboy.
Probably makes perfect sense to you, too...

Tonight we'll provide an After-Action report from our counter protests around America.
I'll be contacting some of you by phone this afternoon to see if you would like to be guests on Mark's show tonight. PLEASE, pass the Listen Live link around to friends and family. We will tape it for future use pending license arrangements with Clear Channel Communication.
7:00 PM PST - The War Room: This note from Mark's Website:
"If you missed tonights show (last week) then you missed a U.S. exclusive interview with Kenneth Nichols OKeefe. He is the decorated veteran U.S. Marine of Desert Storm now leading a convoy of Human Shields to Baghdad in defense of the bloodthirsty regime of the Butcher of Baghdad. Listener reaction was explosive!"
Well, hold on to your seats folks... tonight Mark outs this supposed patriot in The War Room. This symbol of the Anti-War crowd is about to be exposed in a way that makes Mark Williams one of the shining stars of talk radio.
8:00 PM PST - The Reports Mainstream Media would cover!

Here personal stories of changing hearts and minds... be inspired and encouraged as America and her allies face the greatest challenge of the new millennium.
If you were at a counter protest we missed or were not able to connect with a representative, PLEASE drop us an email a.s.a.p. We need more than ever, to network with talk radio hosts and each of our Chapter Leaders and frontline warriors. Check our website for the latest updates on that effort and an upcoming event, designed to do just that. You'll hear that announcement tonight on MarkTalk Live.

"Yes, they called it the land God himself gave to his chosen people, the Jews."

Okay... Just FYI...
You can hear the show if you're on hold. Inside California, try the toll free number or cell numbers. The screener answering the phone is a friend.. her name is Kendall. Tell her you're calling from Free Republic.
A note for those who Mark may have as guests on the show later... Kendall will call you. The breaking news item on the Human Shields is expected to pull lots of calls... We may have to shift times depending on that call volume... I'll keep you all updated as the show progresses.
Thanks for you patience.
Dave
