Couldn't agree more Hobblemaster. As we know, these "peaceful" protestors are anything but. Our portapotties, your car, what haven't they vandalized in the name of their "cause."

I have done some digging and about half of their money comes from Europe Nations like France Germany and allot of former Eastern Block Countries with a small percentage from the middle east and South America. The US Funds are from tax-free groups because they make the claim to be non-partisan and have 501(c)3 status!!!

Paging O'Reilly - Hannity and Google - and (of course) Judy Woodruff, Dan Rather, Blokaw and Petah Jennings.

Where were these answer people and their comrades when i42 was bombing Yugoslavia? Or the three times he lobbed missles into Iraq. Or Afgahnistan, the Sudan? The "peace now" activist were no where to be seen when i42 killed the men, women and children at Waco. Or Ruby Ridge. Where were these people when clinton was playing around in Somalia, or Bosnia?

I hope most of the demonstrations in America and Britain were caught on video. That way, we know who the enemy is.

The U.S. didn't start this war, but we will finish it. No matter what the Belgians, Germans, or the cheese eating surrender monkeys have to say about it.

Thanks for the ping tgsl. Dware, kristinn and others in the DC Chapter have lots of information on the truth about A.N.S.W.E.R. and their commie pinko ilk. Suggest contacting them. I believe tgslTakoma and Angelwood have photos of some of their blatant commie signs - think some are linked through dcchapter.com. Keep me posted as I'll help where I can.

I don't doubt it at all.

I'm in High School in MD (my schools right off 83 up farther north) and I did some work for local Pubbies and they'll tell you horror stories of going downtown on election day, blacks thinking Bush would bring slavery back the works.... That city is just... well I think sad is the only way to describe it now. My grandmother grew up theree and now it's pretty much a mess... We should definetely publize this kind of exploitation by the ANSWER rats.

A.N.S.W.E.R loves those pliable young minds don't they. Their web site is geared toward recruitment of students college and high school.

FEBRUARY 16- 20: Local picket lines, rallies, teach-ins, collection of signatures in the People's Anti-War Referendum (www.VoteNoWar.org)

FEBRUARY 21: Take to the streets to fight war and racism on the anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X. Coordinated Day of Resistance, including student anti-war walk-outs from hundreds of high schools and colleges, and other acts of non-compliance. Youth and students have marked this important anniversary with militant protests on a range of issues for the last thirty-five years. Malcolm X embodies the spirit of struggle against militarism and the racist establishment. Honor his life and legacy the right way: Resist! Youth and Student A.N.S.W.E.R. will be providing leaflets, posters, stickers and other resources for the February 21 actions.

************************ ************************ APPEAL FOR INTERNATIONAL ACTION FROM ELIAS RASHMAWI, VICE PRESIDENT, THE INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST US AGGRESSION ON IRAQ (including Declaration Against U.S. hegemony and War on Iraq and In Solidarity with Palestine, from founding Cairo conference of the International Campaign, with Ahmed Ben Bella, former President of Algeria, as president.) http://www.internationalanswer.org/campaigns/f15/index.html#resist

Thanks for the heads-up.

It's just like these ghouls to re-exploit those already exploited by the Dems with their pie-in-the-sky promises.

If I see these signs in my city, I will tear them down.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, four coalitions - each comprised of many organizations and individuals -- have come together to sponsor a broad and united anti-war march and rally on Sunday, Feb. 16. The four coalitions -- Bay Area United Against War, Not In Our Name project (some of our favorite celebs), United for Peace & Justice, and the International A.N.S.W.E.R. (Act Now to Stop War & End Racism) Coalition have been working together successfully for the last several weeks to maximize the turnout on Feb. 16.

One of the first agreements that was made between the groups organizing the Feb. 16 anti-war protest was that none of the coalitions would propose rally speakers who had publicly attacked or worked to discredit one of the coalition groups. When members of the Tikkun Community, who have actively participated in the organizing meetings for Feb. 16, suggested to Bay Area United for Peace and Justice, that it propose Michael Lerner as a speaker, it was explained by members of UFPJ that since he had publicly attacked A.N.S.W.E.R in both the New York Times and Tikkun community e-mail newsletters, his inclusion in the program would violate the agreement among the Feb. 16 organizing groups.

This says they are against free speech? ;)

"...we at A.N.S.W.E.R. have been taken by surprise by a campaign initiated by Michael Lerner and furthered by David Corn (a reporter for the Nation and Fox News) and others that has sought to deceive the anti-war movement and to misdirect its energies" ....

I am involved in marketing real estate developments down here in Houston, and I preach the same sermon you do to all of the wonderful, dedicated members of our local chapter of Freerepublic. We need to market FR just like a product, to get higher name ID. It’s called branding. I’m sure with all of the resources we have in the membership of Freerepublic we have members with the expertise needed to give us a broad outline of a PR plan. Remember most of America is on our side we just need to let them know about us.

If only you could get Jim Robinson to group Freepers by geographical region. Once grouped, we could be told who lived in the same city by screen name. We could write each other by Freepmail to set up a local chapter.
