A reminder of other key pieces of the 2001 anthrax attack puzzle:
- Two of Attas gang were treated in South Florida in the couple of months prior to 9/11 for skin problems. One was treated by a doctor for a black skin lesion. The doctor who treated him is convinced it was cutaneous anthrax. In the second instance, Atta and one of his co-conspirators went to a pharmacy for skin cream. The pharmacist said the hands of Attas companion were extremely red and irritated, as if by a strong chemical burn.
- The first anthrax-laden letter to AMA in South Florida was never recovered. At the time the case first surfaced in the media, AMA employees said that a peculiar letter containing a brownish-white powder arrived in their mailroom the week of 9/8/01, several days before the 9/11 hijackings.
- Atta rented an apartment from the real-estate agent wife of the head of AMA.
- Some of Attas gang took flying lessons near the location of AMA.
- Atta showed an interest in learning to fly crop dusters.
We may not have that damnable smoking gun the media blathers on about, but a reasonable person exercising common sense is certainly capable of drawing reasonable conclusions from all of the above facts.
So, what are the odds of there NOT being an Iraq Al Queda connection to the anthrax attacks that began concurrent with the 9/11 hijackings?

Ping, FYI. Press on, my friend. You may or may not have nailed all particulars, but I believe your broad hypothesis is correct. I do believe we are going into Iraq soon, though. No choice in the matter.

We're going into Iraq alright, and no fear of Iraqi 'slepers' with anthrax is going to stop us. The price we'd pay if we did nothing and capitulated to their blackmail would be exponentially worse. ....Like the old Midas commerical..."you can pay me now, or pay me later." I'd prefer to pay now, and I'm fairly sure the price will be cheap.

Most of us never believed it was Dr. Hartsfield (sp?) or any other American. It's AQ or Iraq or both working together.

The only remaining question about it, Mr. Mojo, is when, not if. The morons whining for a "smoking gun" must think they are dealing with an episode of 'Perry Mason' instead of the real world where we are confronting a brutal, wily, enormously dangerous tyrant. By the way, I hate that damnable "smoking gun" cliche. What Powell presented yesterday was the equivalent of a fleet of battleships, and if we do nothing, it will soon batter the hell out of us.

I don't like the "smoking gun" chiche either. We don't need one anyway. Resolution 1441 clearly requires that Iraq disarm the WMD that
the world already knows he has. The burden is on Saddam to disarm, not on us to prove that he has nasty weapons.
I think the battle will be over by the end of March. I say battle, and not 'war', very deliberately. This is just one of the many battles to be fought in the War on Terror.

Speaking of war and battles, I just saw a nuclear sub - a "Boomer" with 20 ICBMs on board - just cruise past my house a minute ago, making its way out of the Puget Sound and into the Pacific.
A beautiful sight.

Most of us never believed it was Dr. Hartsfield (sp?) or any other American. It's AQ or Iraq or both working together. And the government knows this as well. I have to say that I resent the government spending taxpayer money to set up a phony sideshow "Amerithrax" investigation to cover up the truth. I have to give The Great Satan all the credit for convincing me of this. He really demonstrated the evidence in a amazing fashion.

Yup, THS has been doing a terrific job. We all have a role to play in this War on Terrorism, even if it is "just" trying to inform our fellow citizens. Although we all can't be on the front lines in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, 9/11 proved that even here at home we are on the front lines.

Plus, the Al-Qaeda cell in N. Iraq that Powell identified seems to have been the conduit for the ricin discovered by the Brits in London and, I betcha, the French discovered in Paris but did not disclose.

Hatfill was a decoy. They did not want not to scare the American public too soon That information would hurt the economy before we are ready. Buy Cipro over the internet.
