More social engineering and PC propaganda from the media and entertainment industries.
It's about acceptance, you see. It's not enough for consenting adults to be free to sodomize each other. No, you and I must also give our endorsement to such activity.

I'm so glad I'm a DC fan.

I predict miserable sales. The last thing comic book nerds need to tarnish their image is to be caught carrying an issue of the Rawhide Kid.

Does his superhero costume consist of buttless chaps?
To: marshmallow
Well, speaking as a collector of S. Clay Wilson and Spain Rodribuez's stuff...uh...this is pretty lame...

"The day Marvel stops dealing with reality, relevant issues, is the day we go out of business."...reality huh? To me, reality would be the Rawhide Kid gets the crap beat out of him in issue #1 when he comes on to some drunk cowboys in a Dodge City bar.

rides farther forward in the saddle than most, i suspect. on the other hand, to get him off the horse you gotta loosen the girth and he kinda pops off when the saddle slides around to the horse's belly. .

Shazam !
Capt. Marvel is rolling over in his grave.

Big Deal.
Batman and Robin are only one step from being drag queens. Even preteens in the '60s watching the TV series knew that.
This is all about getting publicity for an obscure comic book figure, not social engineering.

I, for one, always appreciated how Marvel dealt with such real and relevant issues as radioactive spider bites, the phenomenon gamma rays turning humans into humugous green monsters, and Norse gods living in modern society.

Me too. I guess I am just into that old fashioned Marvel reality...JFK

I'm disapointed!
Up to post 14 and no pictures yet of "comic book guy" off the Simpsons.

When I was a kid, way back when, I remember that kids were speculating about Batman and Robin. But in those days the comics knew how to leave well enough alone.

You bet.

So, when do the rest of the Village People show up in the comics?
