The OJ Jury found him "Not Guilty", which is not the same as an acquital
They are exactly the same thing. An "acquittal" means exactly that you are found "not guilty". I suggest a new dictionary. Black's make a fine law dictionary, but even dictionary.com has this one.

Aaarrrggghhh! You are correct. Not Guilty = acquital. Not Guilty <> Innocent, though, which is what the poster claimed the Jury found.
