Hmmm. Waldo is the FORMER editor...how old is he? No matter. He's having a severe senior moment. Waldo will be pleased to know that there is help for this malady...funded by Jeb Bush and other FL Republicans.

Well, I won't go that far, but he's a damn sight better than McBride would've been. I'm still very displeased with Gov. Bush's refusal to allow oil drilling in the Gulf and natural gas drilling in the 'Glades. What Florida needs badly is steady, well-paying jobs. Jobs that bring in taxable income during economic good times and bad.

The problem with Florida's economy is that it's too dependant on tourism, which drops significantly during hard times. Compound that with dumba** Floridians who haven't met an expensive Constitutional amendment they didn't like, and we're now facing the very real possibility of having an income tax imposed on us. Bush could've brought thousands well paying, steady jobs to the state, but he instead caved to the eco-nuts, and for that, I'm still upset with him.

But again, he's a damn sight better than Mr. Mumbles Mc Bride would've been.

I'm no "sheriff," but I did get a laugh out of this editorial -- someone should inform its author: the FL gov election is over (it ended over two months ago). This column's attempt to rally support for the Dem loser candidate is, uh, a little late... :)

The left is ignoring the election...has been since Nov. 5th - pushing Dem. candidates and policies while undermining President Bush (and Jeb) with the very powerful assistance of the international mainstream press. They are committing treason, imho.The anatomy of treason.
