HONK if you support the Sharpton/Spike Lee "Let's Do It To Honky" ticket.

Strange enough, the new slogan was adopted because "Kill Whitey" was deemed a tad confrontational by Spike.

He won't win the primary. He'll be lucky if the Democrats let him live... Sharpton will be lucky if he doesn't lose more than his office.

"Strange enough, the new slogan was adopted because 'Kill Whitey' was deemed a tad confrontational by Spike."

We ALL know IF he could, Spike would print up millions of 'Kill Whitey' T-shirts...

Ummmm. Nobody.

Except for independant or unupposed third party candidates, a running mate is not announced until one has won the nomination. Al won't win the nomination.

Slightly off topic but Dick Morris on Hannity's radio program said he had advised Sharpton to run as an Independent (since someone else will get the Dem nomination).

The Democrats dare not ever let this happen. If they do, they are cooked. Even 2-3% of the black vote peeling off to Sharpton will make a huge difference on a state by state basis.

Slick Willie will intervene and talk him out of it, you can be sure of that. I'm sure the Clinton DOJ gathered all kinds of goodies on Sharpton which can be used to blackmail him. But Sharpton seems ready for this, as he's already told the press they have to give him a pass on his past mistakes just like they give the Clintons and the Kennedys.

The Democrats finally have come up against someone that doesn't like staying on the plantation. It's amazing it took this long.

Sharpton/Byrd.

My guess is the dem. party will have completely imploded by the time running mates are announced, casualties will be mounting, and Byrd will march victoriously atop the heap of dead and wounded candidates, hoist his white flag and declare himself the only viable candidate left who can win the South for Sharpton. Hopefully no one will notice the two cut-out holes in his flag...

"According to Morris, Al seemed to like the idea."

Brilliant! Lets start an email campaign encouraging Al to do this!
