It pretty much should be. Next time, don't take things so personally. And, admit when you're wonrg. It's very liberating.
This is just my personal opinion of course, but for many years I believed that tabbing Bush Sr. as V.P. was one of the Gipper's biggest mistakes. Senior may be a basically decent guy, but the truth of the matter is that he never really believed in the core conservative philosophy the way Reagan did, not even close.
Of course without Bush Sr. we probably wouldn't have Bush Jr., who may turn out to be a truly great President. So perhaps even out of the bad can come good.
Let's get this out in the open: You are not used to losing arguments, correct?
Throw away the rest of this conversation, and focus on one point: Did you, or did you not use a familiar liberal lie to back up your point?
If the answer is "yes" (and it is), then, as I pointed out, you have allowed the liberals to suck you in. You are doing their work for them. And no amount of name calling or grammer-school debate tactics are ever going to change that. Even if you go back to using profanity and need to be reprimanded again by the Admin, as happened in post #101. We can go on and on forever like this, and you know what? You are always going to be wrong. And the more you keep it up, the more you are going to look like a spoiled two year-old who can't understand why things aren't going her way. Because, at the end of it all, all I have to do is refer readers to post #49, where you do, in fact employ a liberal lie to defend Kennedy:
JFK did lower taxes to jump start the economy, and he was the driving force behind the "space race" to beat the Sovs to the moon. Aside from those two things I agree with you.
And then there is nothing left for us to debate about. I'm right. You're wrong. But keep making an ass of yourself if it helps you in some way, shape or form.
As far as my use of profanity is concerned- I call 'em like I see 'em!
Nobody's running to the moderator. In fact, the only running I see here is you running from the truth.
Yeah, and Saddam has plans to send the Yankee Imperialist Dogs running for home.
You would rather give credibility to the lies of the Democrat Party than just admit that you are wrong. Pity. You can save yourself some time by reading post #52 where we covered this. In a nutshell: American scientists had been competing with the Soviets for a decade before NASA was established in 1958. Lunar exploration was always a major goal. This was 3 years before Kennedy took office, and under a republican president. Pioneer I was launched later that year in response to the Soviet Sputnik I. On average the were more (and more complicated) launches during the Johnson and Nixon Administrations than during Kennedy's. His biggest contribution to the space race was his quotability ("We choose to go to the moon"). The moon landing took place years after John began his dirt nap and with a Republican in the White House. Every time you bring up the space race as a Kennedy "accomplishment" you are helping to spread the lies of the Democrat Party. If it makes you feel better, continue to do so as long as you like. I will respond with the truth. This is not a matter of "opinion." The facts are readily available. The Democrat Party correctly expects average Americans not to think or investigate on their own (you sure didn't - and you care enough about politics to participate in a conservative web forum).
The tax-cut on the other hand, did happen, but there are not many who would call it a great accomplishment. It was a tiny fraction of Reagan's. It didn't accomplish much. And to use it as an example speaks volumes about the real lack of accomplishments in a failed presidency.
Again, there is no "premise" to accept or not accept. I am dealing with facts. And every time you come to the defense of JFK because you are not willing to admit you are wrong, you state liberal points of view as your own. This is no "opinion." It's fact.
Get it through you tiny head that it is not "my version of the facts." It is just THE FACTS. I know it hurts to face up to it, but, quite simply, you are wrong. And, when it comes to John Kennedy, you are a liberal.
