Wrong. Cheney's home state is Wyoming. 3 electoral votes I believe. Bush didn't pick him to help with any electoral votes.
Thanks for the heads-up.
You are on crack. Clinton dealt Bush a $hitty hand and Bush has done an admirable job of getting things back in order. The economic slowdown began in 2000, many economists are not suggesting that October was the bottom. Clinton's inactivity in foreign policy necessitated the War on Terrorism, which we are winning. Clinton facilitated NKs posession of nuclear weapons. Bush's hardline policy now has NK suggesting a compromise.
No, to me Giuliani is irrelevant since Bush already has a VP. I took issue with you saying NY is "very winnable."
Which one of us has that comprehension problem?
You are wrong. NY is winnable for the Republican party. This argument is not winnable for you.
LOL! That's the way to debate! Well, I do find your screen name very appropriate, since you do seem to enjoy waving that Bravo Sierra flag.
Cheney's departure was already addressed (I suggested that it would be at his own request). The other points have been made. Either rebutt them effectively or zip it. (Hint: "I doubt it, if party leaders even allow him in the race be then" is neither an informed nor an effective response). Persistence does not pay off here. Being wrong 100 times does not make you right. New York is very winnable for the GOP in 2004. I know. I live here. Tell me why it isn't.
Already done. Thank you.
Sorry, let me rephrase that: Either rebutt effectively or shut yer trap.
NY is very winnable because:
1) It just re-elected a Republican govenor. 2) Sharpton's derisiveness will drive blacks away from the polls. 3) There is a good chance Guliani will end up replacing Cheney on the ticket. 4) Outside of NYC, the state has Republican leanings. NYC has voted for Republican mayors in the last 3 elections. 5) Nominated or not, Guliani is currently the golden-boy of the Republican party. He will play a huge role at the Republican Convention, which will be in NYC.
Now, before you itemize your responses, remeber what we are talking about here: "NYS is very winnable." Not "NYS is a shoe-in," or "We are going to win NYS." In other words, disagreement for the sake of disagreement doesn't win the argument. These are all legitimate points wether you like it or not. NYS is not off the table.
NY is in no way very winnable for the Pubbies.
Because I said so.
Because Shut up.
That's fine by me that you're struggling. You're still new here. But for your education I do suggest you read this entire thread again, very carefully. And try not to be so defensive when people disagree with you. I'm very pleased that you personally know Rudy. Perhaps he can give you some tips on debating... or spelling.
Look, I know this is a difficult concept for you, but when you agree with what someone is saying, you usually don't post a rebuttal of his points.

Ah, spelling... along with tenure the last refuges of the unimaginative. Since you are wondering, I've bee here since 1999. I have had several different names. But now I've been dealing with you for so long that even I'm addressing irrelevancies. Look: You've painted yourself into a corner, and you think that you can win the argument by repeating the same incorrect story. You can't.
