I still think this Ali ought to be invited to attend Christian services That's nice.
...and maybe convert and change his name to Albert or Oliver or something.
Why would he want to adopt an Anglo-Saxon name?
Christianity is a universal religion, not just a tribal or national religion.

"It's not about religion," Popinara said of yesterday's incident at the synagogue. "He just flipped." If it wasn't about religion, why didn't he torch a mosque?

Or Ole or Jacques... you get the idea, anything that sounds less Muslim and might be the name of a Christian saint.

I see what you're saying, but part of the point of Jesus' teachings is that anyone can become a Christian - you don't have to belong to particular ethnic group or tribe. In fact, Christianity is the world's fastest growing religion, especially in the developing nations, in large part because of this.
So, it shouldn't matter if the guy has an arab name. There are many arab Christians too, but Christianity does not require that you change your name or learn a new language. That is part of the advantage that Christianity has over Islam - the Bible can be translated into many languages, while in Islam only the Arabic translation of the Koran is considered to the verbatim version of God's word.

"Jakup, a Bosnian Muslim"
Hmm.. ANOTHER Bosnian?
Didn't Clinton have our military act as policemen to protect these guys once?
Good thing there was at least ONE civic minded muslim there to stop this freak.

For some folks, it *is* a religion of peace. Gratitude to a brave man.
