We should pressure Hearst to dump this non-journalist from their payroll (I know, fat chance). What an embarrassment for the journalism profession, although it's pretty clear that it has virtually no capacity for embarrassment left.

No, Ari should grow some balls and either bitch slap her around, or revoke her press pass based on her editorializing her position in the press corp.

Maybe the WH should dump Helen Thomas from the press pool.

I saw this most recent display of Helen's whining and nit-picking. Ari must have the patience of a saint. If I was in that position I'm afraid I might succomb to the urge to slap that witch silly.

Helen's so far out there, it's hardly worth the FR bandwidth to ridicule her.
Seriously, in what venue is she not a risible buffoon?

Each time she makes a fool of herself some republican gets his wings.

Speaking here, from a purely personal view, I believe that Ari Fleischer and the entire Bush administration would go right through the roof in popularity polls if Fleischer just stepped out from the podium and went down to Helen and slapped her upside her obnoxious, stupid and butt-ugly head.
As an American, I would be damn proud.

How does a man seperate his revulsion of Helen Thomas' corrupt agenda and deceitful ethos from his primal desire of animal lust, need and passion for her?

It's odd how differently people can view things, I thought Helen exposed Ari as a shill for the policy of pre-emptive attack on some threats, not necessarily the most threatening to the U.S.
The dead and wounded in Israel have my prayers, on all sides.

Helen is the epitome of the Democrat's problem. Doubt, Doubt, Question, Riducule, Frustration, Anger, Childish, Decry, Deride, and Belittle. Guess What: It doesn't work. And the American people don't like it. Take a poll of how many Americans like Helen Thomas, and not many will vote in her favor.

I suppose she also defended Nazi Germany during WWII.

I saw the conference and think Ari made a mistake by engaging in a debate with her. Should have aswered her stupid question and moved on. Or better still, don't even call on the senile old bag

The White House should dump her. The WH press corps is there to record and report the news, not to push their individual pet peeve agendas.
Ari wasted far too much time on her. She doesn't even function as a journalist anymore. She's merely a columnist, and a Lebanese one at that.

"Would the President attack innocent Iraqi lives?" Evidently Ms. Thomas was asleep during Impeacho's administration or her medication has been adjusted.
