Well, I'm surprised there isn't a mad rush to get "immunized"
I just take my vitamins A and C and I just don't get colds or flus.
I wonder if people know that moderate exercise (in the absence of sugars and other junk foods) is one of the finest immune-enhancing booster in the human body.

I picked it up once at the doctor's when I was being treated for bronchitis. I was a total mess for more than a week. Norwalk+bronchitis = Hell

Hubby and I suffered over Christmas break. Got the virus without putting out the money for a cruise :-)
I think we got it when I accompanied Hubby to Kaiser Permanente the Friday before Christmas -- had a localized infection on his leg -- we were in the Kaiser waiting room from 9:30 PM to midnight that Friday, and the place was packed. Started to feel bad on the sunday before Christmas and hubby looked like something out of the Exorcist on Christmas night (projectile vomiting and pooping) - -
Just now finally starting to feel like ourselves -- talk about draining your energy!

Some people think it's funny but it's really green and runny....

Thanks for the heads up. Washing Hands, something so simple to do. It's the number 1 preventative for colds too.
Contrary to what "grandma" said, going outside without wearing a hat or coat in cold weather does not cause colds neither does getting a chill or walking in the rain, etc.

I figure the UN would bust a gut if an American actually was helped by something they did. I figured I paid for the research. I started to look for the recipe and found they are selling the ORT in packets instead of distrubing(sp) the simple recipe...It figures they would make a selling scheme out of it.

Sounds like my Mom! None of us kids failed to learn the lesson that HANDS MUST BE WASHED- the alternative was too painful to contemplate...
I watched a father whisk his young son straight out of the mens room at a local restaurant without stopping at the sink- the boy probably had Norwalk virus, too (judging by certain auditory and olfactory clues I could not fail to notice!). Now there's a kid who is really being taught something, all right. (Bet they went right to the salad bar to fondle all the fruits and vegetables...)

And, sounds like MY MOM, and My Husband's MOM, and ME to my son, and now to my grandkids.....whose mother is....well...I won't go there.
