Kennedy was a presidential coward and a precursor of Clinton...a disloyal to his wife womanizer who encouraged and then abandoned to death Cuban Freedom Fighters at the Bay of Pigs. He was an empty suit, pretty boy, loved for his manufactured public image while his true self rotted in a portrait in his attic.

Before Kennedy, Eisenhower lead the freedom loving nations of the world to victory in the greatest war in the history of humanity. He then presided over much of the world's reconstruction while defending freedom from the communism during the Cold War.

Nixon got the US out of the mess in Vietnam created by Johnson. Opened relations with China.

Reagan, beginning with his inaguration and the immediate release of the American hostages in Iran to the rebuilding of the American military and credibility to the denial of communist incursions in Latin America to the collapse of the Soviet Union and global communism was the greatest president and the greatest leader of the 20th century.

Bill O'Reilly's "No Spin Zone?" What a joke.

The only "grip" O'Reilly has happens a couple times a day. He's a pompous ass at best.

He must be losing his grip. We all know that anyone who is a Democrat cannot have a positive personal or leadership quality, and that Republicans are perfect, never wrong and certainly in no way shape or form ever corrupt (only Democrats pander to special interests).

If anyone says that Ronald Reagan didn't have leadership qualities, they're nuts.

No one I know watches his show any more. He's arrogant and pompous, and never shuts up. Reminds me of your typical democrat.

Screw O'Reilly, arrogant jackass, I think the no spin zone is nearing the downhill side, I used to watch him everynite, but I found I just could not sit thrue a whole hour of "Me" this and "I" that. His arrogance is right up there with Imus, except I like to listen to Imus.

O'Reilly stated that we have had no leadership in the office of the presidency since John F. Kennedy. He went on to say that before Kennedy, Truman was a leader. Eisenhower was not. And he went on to specifically disparage President Reagan as a "Figure Head".

Leadership in reference to what? And how did the topic come up? Maybe he hasnt recovered from New Years eve.

No joke, Ronald Reagan stayed his course when he had a bunch of advisors telling him that he was way off base. Kind of screws up the liberal theory that Reagan was just a puppet being run by his advisors. I'm going to take O'Reilly to task on this, but first, I'm going to verify what he said.

I think this is O'Reilly starting to respond to his liberal critics by going out of his way to praise RATs and slam conservatives.

I know O'Rielly is anti-death penalty, somewhat critical of religious conservatives, pro some vaguely defined McCainite type of political "reform" and so on. But on the preponderance of issues, is he basically conservative? Sure, he is.

This was simply something to buffer his "independent" credentials.

Exactly.

Virtually anyone can be a Liberal; just simply vote that way; but, if you want to be a GOOD Liberal, there are some necessary prerequisites. Compare the list below and see how you rate:

1. You have to believe the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding.

2. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex.

3. You have to believe that guns, in the hands of law-abiding Americans, are more of a threat than U. S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of the Chinese communists.

4. You have to believe that there was no "Art" before Federal funding.

5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical, documented changes in the earth's climate, and more affected by yuppies driving SUVs.

6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial; but, being homosexual is natural.

7. You have to be against capital punishment but support abortion on demand.

8. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony activists from our cities do.

10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.

11. You have to believe the military, not corrupt politicians start wars.

12. You have to believe the NRA is bad, because it supports certain
parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good, because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.

13. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

14. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, General Robert E. Lee or Thomas Edison.

15. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides aren't.

16. You have to believe that Hillary Clinton is really a lady.

17. You have to believe that the only reason Socialism hasn't worked anywhere its been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge.

18. You have to believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but a liar and sex offender belongs in the White House.

19. You have to believe that homosexual parades displaying drag, transvestites and bestiality should be constitutionally protected and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal.

20. You have to believe that illegal Democrat Party funding by the Chinese is somehow in the best interest of the United States.

21. You have to believe that Senator Lott, who unintentionally made inappropriate comments when he congratulated an old man at his 100th birthday party, should be driven from the office that is 2nd in succession to the presidency
But that Senator Byrd, who intentionally used specific racial slurs in a speach to the US Senate should be allowed to continue to hold the office that is 3rd in succession to the presidency.

It's most watched because he says things that piss people off. That makes them think.

I hated him at first but now I like him. I don't understand why he said that Kennedy was a leader and none since were but your post doesn't include his explanation.

He certainly isn't liberal. He is conservative but he isn't a brainwashed conservative. He thinks for himself. That makes the brainwash conservatives angry. The fact that he isn't liberal makes the liberals angry. That makes for a great show.

The no spin thing was always ridiculous. Of course there's spin in a news program. It's unavoidable.

O'Reilly has more self righteousness than the pope. He met his match in Jesse Jackson and has been in free-fall since then.

Bill O'Reilly never had a grip to loose.

"Socialism/liberalism is like a destructive absurd religion
that creates and rewards populations that live in denial.
If, in the future, in the increasingly unlikely event
mankind returns to a realistic and serious view of
history, study as to what caused the decline and
destruction of America will point to the inescapable
conclusion that one of the key factors was the Kennedy
Presidency." (R.L.Kocher - Viet Nam Part 10)
