I greatly enjoyed "The Two Towers" but am still slightly pissed by the portrayal of Faramir.

I saw the movie once, three weeks ago. Let's see how I do:

1. Tell me what happened and I will ease your passing.
Eomer to an Orc.

2. Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.
Gollum to Sam

3. We have trusted you this far. You have not led us astray. I was wrong to despair.
Legolas to Aragorn.

4. Isengard has been unleashed.
Saruman to Grima

5. You are the luckiest, the canniest, and the most wreckless man I have ever known.
Gimli to Aragorn. That's "reckless" by the way.

6. Why do you lay these troubles on an already troubled mind? Can you not see your uncle is wearied by your malcontent and your warmongering?
Grima Wormtongue to Eowyn.

7. I come back to you now at the turn of the tide.
Gandalf to the three travelers.

8. Dark have been my dreams of late.
Theodren to Gandalf.

9. Open war is upon you - whether you would risk it or not.
Gandalf to Theodren.

10. Three hundred lives of men I walked on this earth and now I have no time.
Gandalf to self, or the travelers

11. The courtesy of your hall has lessened of late.
Gandalf to Theoden

12. Your leechcraft would have had me crawling on all fours like a beast.
Theoden to Grima Wormtongue

13. Finish this line......It is time for Faramir, Captain of Gondor, to show his _______.
mettle or worth. Mettle is in the book, but I'm not sure if the movie followed it. Faramir said this to Frodo, in the book.

14. This creature is bound to me and I to him.
Frodo to Faramir

15. It is an army bred for a single purpose, to destroy the world of men.
Aragorn to Theodren

16. Sauron's wrath will be terrible, his retribution swift.
Gandalf to Aragorn

17. I will have no pointy ear out scoring me.
Gimli to Aragorn

18. We come to honor that allegiance.
Elrohir, Elrond's son to Theoden

19. You could have picked a better spot.
Gimli to Aragorn

20. The ring will not save Gondor. It only has the power to destroy.
Frodo to Faramir

How did I do?

Of course, I did read the books five or six times each. Many of these lines are in them or I can figure them out from the characters.

F.S.

I saw this movie yesterday. I really dont what to say. I have read these books so many times years ago. Im just glad I get to see this on film in this way. Im still amazed at everything in these two films. My most rememberable quote is at the end of return of king for me.

"Here we are sam at the end of all things"

I cant wait to see and hear that when the mountain is in total destruction with sam and frodo in total despair and then the eagles come
