It's laughably predictable how the FIRST thing Scumocrats do is plot to take down a GOP leader through opposition research intended for future personal attacks and personal demonization.

The DNC @ssholes are going to eventually have to talk about the issues. But knowing where they stand on the issues (WRONG side of just about every issue possible), they'll postpone those discussions as long as possible.

If they thought they could get away with it, they'd make something up.

The fact that they haven't concocted or twisted something into damaging info just means that politically, they know they can't get away with it and there will be a backlash.

It will be more difficult (not impossible) to pin racism on those who came of age after 1964, like Frist. This is one advantage of handing the GOP leadership over to a younger generation. Each person is, in part, a product of the times in which they live. Frist matured in a U.S. much different than that of Lott.

The geniuses at DemUnderground have concluded that Frist is nothing but a horrible cat-killer who gets his jollies by dissecting animals. Of course they think all Republicans are at the least serial killers, so this is nothing unusual for them.

"You saw how fast he (Lott) sold the Senate Republicans down the river to save his job," says a White House legislative liaison staffer.

Lott should be # 51.

These same LOSER PETA types would be the FIRST to file a frivolous malpractice suit against Frist or any M.D.--anything except going out and getting a real job.

I hope Frist's ascension to power is causing lots of DU and DNC bleeding ulcers. Heh-heh-heh-heh........

I guess the Rats will have to resort to their counter intelligence expert, Larry Flynt. If this was not sickening, it would be laughable they way they have to resort to these tactics.

but we're certain there is stuff in his past we'll be able to dig up."

Or make it up...or insinuate. Whatever it takes for the Demoncrat politics of personal destruction.

"There is some real concern here, though, that he's a Mr. Clean type,"

How shameful to be disappointed that he's apparently a good guy.

Disgusting RATS.

The real problem for them is that a "Mr. Clean type" is such an unfamiliar concept to them. Notice how they speak of the term with disdain. Very telling, that.

I have to admit that I go over there to see how the other half lives, and it is both pathetic and revealing. Talk about hate speech, name calling, tinfoil hats, conspiracy theories, and just plain crackpot thinking (if you can call it that). The most off the wall posts at FR are positively tame and sensible in comparison. You can really see how they support the likes of the Clintons, McAuliffes, self-appointed black "leaders" and others of the radical leftwing, ultraliberal Democrats. The discussions on the right wing bias of the media is especially hilarious.

Sadly, I am surrounded by these types here in Amherst, MA. I keep a low profile (a bit tricky in my big ass SUV though, LOL!)

There seems to be a presumption on this thread that the Democrats need facts in order to smear Frist. Since when have facts mattered to Democrats? Fictional dirt is their specialty.

The White House, which suddenly is taking a very proactive approach to its dealings in the Senate, does not want Lott on Budget, where he would have to work with both the Bush Administration and Democrats. "You saw how fast he sold the Senate Republicans down the river to save his job," says a White House legislative liaison staffer.

It's exactly that kind of statement from Bush's team that gives me a great feeling about his Presidency.

The adults are in charge. Help HAS arrived !.

The DNC's problem is, even if Frist isn't "Mr. Clean," he's known as someone who goes above and beyond... Taking vacation time to go to Africa and treat AIDS patients there takes Frist beyond Mr. Clean and onto Mr. Heroic, even to many people who don't agree with Frist's politics.

When I heard that Saddam Hussein referred to President Bush as Little Bush, I found myself wondering what Saddam's screen name over at DU is.

Lott even threw his lifelong friend Pickering overboard to save himself saying on BET he'd have to rethink his nomination to the bench.
