I agree. I am going to make an attempt to get mine to arive on Jan 5th. That's when the most vicious attacks will occur. all of the evil Dums will be back in D.C., talking points in hand looking for cameras.

it occured to me this A.M., that while ole KKK Bobbie was grand whatever in WV, there must have been some lynchings. I wonder if he would receive the same treatment from the JD as the guy that murdered Evers. If he can be tried after 40 years, what about ole Byrd. Just wondering.

For your reading enjoyment:

Senator Robert Byrd Receives KKK Lifetime Achievement Award
By N. B. Forrest

. . . “This distinction, awarded to those who advance the ideals of the KKK through personal achievement and service to all people of Caucasian and protestant heritage, accurately describes the contributions Senator Byrd has made to our racially pure organization,” Cracker said.

* * *

In presenting the award to Senator Byrd, Billy Bob Cracker remarked, “Senator Byrd is living proof that being a member of the KKK is not an insurmountable obstacle, so long as you are resolved to push forward against decency and realize your dreams. He filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act. He opposed the nominations of the only Negro justices of the Supreme Court. And he fought valiantly against integrating the military when he wrote, ‘I vow never to fight with a Negro by my side. Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.’ That is why I am honored to salute Senator Robert Byrd as this year’s KKK Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. . . .”

Sen. Robert Byrd, ex-klansman
by Michelle Malkin

* * *

. . . The ex-Klansman's admirers praise his historical knowledge, mastery of procedural rules, and outspokenness. They refer to the Senate's senior Democrat as the "conscience of the Senate." They downplay his white-sheet-wearing days as a "brief mistake" -- as if joining the Klan were like knocking over a glass of water. Oopsy.

This ex-Klansman wasn't just a passive member of the nation's most notorious hate group. According to news accounts and biographical information, Sen. Byrd was a "Kleagle" -- an official recruiter who signed up members for $10 a head. He said he joined because it "offered excitement" and because the Klan was an "effective force" in "promoting traditional American values." Nothing like the thrill of gathering 'round a midnight bonfire, roasting s'mores, tying nooses, and promoting white supremacy with a bunch of your hooded friends.

The ex-Klansman allegedly ended his ties with the group in 1943. He may have stopped paying dues, but he continued to pay homage to the KKK. Republicans in West Virginia discovered a letter Sen. Byrd had written to the Imperial Wizard of the KKK three years after he says he abandoned the group. He wrote: "The Klan is needed today as never before and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia" and "in every state in the Union. . . ."

43 huh. Well just think while ole Byrd was at home lynching Blacks, many were in Europe and the Pacific theater dying for his right to be a Racist. A would be willing to bet that these "great oratories" of his are really CODE for separatist views.
