The problem with Lott and what he has done is he has opened up the door to every democrat questioning every republican on race. What many spineless republicans will do in response is exactly what Lott did, cave to the CBC. Reparations for Everyone, Whites need not apply!!

It is hypocritical, but not for Clintie's reason. It is hypocritical because Lott's critics get to decide what his words mean. That is a leftist position.

When Lott stuck his foot in his mouth, his critics got to decide what he meant.

When he apologized 5 times, his critics got to decide if he meant it.

It is the same ignorant twisted logic that gave us hate crimes; the courts get to decide exactly what you were thinking or what you meant.

I wish Republicans would develop a few talking points and distribute them to those who appear on the talk shows.

When Rick Santorum was confronted by one of the black leaders about the Lott mess being the Republicans' Monica Lewinsky, he offered no response. I wished he had said, "I voted for impeachment because of the lying under oath and this had nothing to do with Mr. Clinton's adulterous behavior." A great comeback.

Also, when asked about Republicans and race relations, our "spokespersons" should only respond with, "Well it was the Democrats who ran on segregation, and many of those Democrats did later become Republicans only after they repudiated the old Democratic line about segregation." Republicans should "own" this race issue, but are too damned timid about using it and sticking it to the Dems whenever possible.

Did you see what Clinton's nose looked like?

His face seems to be growing luggage. His nose is definately larger and more droopy- like what you would wxpect on an alcoholic.

It seems to me his nose has grown too large to even be a carry on bag.
