Flaming Saddles.

Personally I don't like what Quesada has been doing at Marvel. Their quailty has gone down and they've had some hideous titles. 'The Punisher' has become a sadistic sticom and they keep inflicting Zimmerman on the readers.
BTW, the first openly gay character was Northstar of Alpha Flight.

This will bomb as bad as a liberal competing on talk radio.
It will disappear and the mainstream views will report it as a sad commentary on the american public or something moronic like that.

I used to like Rawhide Kid okay back when I read comic books. Too bad they couldn't create a new character if they have to do this.

You seem to know a little about the current comic book scene. What was the deal a few years back about a relaunched Superman who landed in the Soviet Union instead of America, and became a Soviet icon? Was that just some one-shot or mini-series thing? Surely it wasn't the main Superman, right?

I'm not sure. Don't follow much DC. Likely was a one-shot alternate universe DC story, tho.

That's not the point.
The idea is to undermine the idea of manly virtue.
Any way how will they show his gayness?
By having him"like" men? By the usual steriotypes?
Certainly they can't show the reality of gay sex nor would
they want to.
This is just more liberal propaganda to be fed to your children.
Seen any Sgt. Rock of EASY Company comics lately???

Any way how will they show his gayness? The way the cowboy toons drooled over their hosses, I always suspected them of beastiality, not gayness.
