." She thanked festival organizers for "allowing me to get out" of the United States and its horrors for a few days.
Ain't nothing preventing her from leaving permanently

I dunno, maybe nobody else wants the skank either...

She ought to take up residence in Iraq. The Butcher would let her stay in one of his palaces.

Actually, Lange has always shunned Hollywood, prefering to live in Santa Fe, Virginia, and now her native Minnesota.
And, noting this author's apparent lack of research, Lange is an actress of note, having received two Oscars.
That said, her remarks in Spain were inappropriate and her views are leftist. Too bad, because she's a talented dramatic actress. Why highlight her remarks months later? Why give them a broader airing?

What other country could BITCHES like Lange and the rest of Hollywood,go to and make millions of bucks for acting stupid! People like her pi$$ me off. They act as though they have compassion for people, but in reality they only care about themselves. Some day they will get what they deserve!! GOD BLESS THE U.S.A. & all TRUE AMERICANS!

This "actress of note" reportedly dumped the man who brought her to the stage, one Paco Grande, after he became blind and went into poverty. I always like these Hollywood types who rail against the rich, claim they're "common people" and hate this country BUT who ARE rich, who ignore impoverished people around them and who never seem to leave this country as promised (also Alec Baldwin, Streisand and the now-nonentity Robert Altman who made the movie Nashville).

The only movie I can recall Lange in was King Kong. The ape was a better actor. IMHO.

He wasn't just a man, at the time he was her husband.

She was in Rob Roy, too. I never would have rented it years ago if I had known she hated America this much. Hollywood is an enemy.

Those with ability and the wrong politics need not apply.

Hey, don't shoot me, I just report. She did split with Paco Grande - I have no idea why and don't care.
I'm not attempting to take her side. I'm simply saying this author didn't do his homework.

Rob Roy was a lousy film. A real contrast to Braveheart.

Yo loudly charging angry elephant - rant all you want, it doesn't change the fact that the woman has talent and has been recognized for it.
She's also a leftist - I can't do anything about that. I'm not happy about it. I'm not surprised by it.
My point is, what is this author's point in giving it more air time???

Jessica Lange is right on!
She must immediatley become a human shield in Iraq to protect Saddam.
With all the money she has why only a short stay away from the horros of America, why does she not move to Europe or other place... hmmmm?

MY comments weren't aimed at you; but at the humanitarian critic Ms. Lange, who reportedly ditched her husband (who greatly aided her career) when he went blind. Sort of calls into question her "commitment" to liberal values, no? Apparently, she loves humanity, doesn't care much for people.
