These guys just can't say no to Chinese food, or money.

Mr Chan would not comment on his involvement with failed United States energy company Enron but said he had never held a large number of the controversial company's shares. "I only hold 1,000 shares, according to legal requirement," he said. "I was a pure non-executive director and I did not receive any director's fee." The main impact for him is the toll the investigation has taken on his personal time.

Drudge is now reporting that Gore says he was paid by Business Week to attend the event. The Weekly Standard reports that Business Week denies asking Gore to participate and did NOT pay him or any of the participants anything. Watch for this to be discussed by the roundtable on Fox tonight at 6:45 est.
