This was the message that the demoncrats tried in the 2002 elections and it failed. Why are they trying to see if it works now? Nobody can win a Presidency on this issue. For one thing, its too complicated for most to understand. Second, the material is boring, even w/out Al Gore. Third, more and more people realize that Presidents don't have the final say on the economy (nobody does). Fourth, the confusion over how cLINTON "fixed" the economy destroys this issue for democrats. Somehow, Billy raised the economy all by himself in the 90's, but it's not Billy's fault that all the corporate scandals began under his watch. Nor is it his fault that the economy went down in March of 2000 under his watch? The pardon of corporate scandal Mark Rich also shows how well he stopped those evil corrupt corporations. When some democrat says they'll fix the economy, they have to prove it.

When a repub says tax cut, everybody loves it. This wealthiest 1% crap didn't/will not work anymore.
