Elliott Abrams is a patriot and a hero of the Cold War. God bless Dr. Rice for her wisdom.

Hurray for ol' G. Gordon ...
I've got a latin saying on my wall that I "pinched" from a sign on his desk during his Nixon years ...

The sooner the better.

He is all that and better! Most don't appreciate his important contributions to first stemming and then turning back the Soviets.
Actually, it looks like his new responsibilities (Near East) are comparable in importance and activity to the present war as his old Central American ballywick was to the Cold War. He will greatly help win this one for Bush just as he did the first one for Reagan.
Welcome back Elliot!

Abrahms was right about the Sandinistas hopefully he will be right about the islamofascists.

It appears that, so far, no one agrees with your views.

BUMP!

He plead guilty of witholding information from Congress(his superiors). This man defecated upon the constitution, and the chain of command, he should have been disgraced. Kissinger and so many others, serve the Executive branch and ignore constitutional limitations, and are rewarded forever.

Your ignorance is showing. Elliott was an executive-branch employee, and a political appointee at that. How would that make Congress "his superiors"?
Ever heard of separation of powers?
And if you want to talk about "defecating on the constitution", let's discuss the Boland Amendment.
Not familiar with that one, are you?

I think that sign was actually from Colson's office. And I believe it said, "When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow."
Hard to argue with the sentiment, either way.
