Rivero was a left over SDS re tread. Still going to the smear the US rallies thirty years later. Missed the sixties and all the fun. According to Rivero any bad thing was the fault of the US and a conspiracy.

The operation ceiling of a shoulder-fired missile is normally stated for agile, nimble targets that they are made to shoot down. A lumbering jumbo jet not taking evasive measures could be considerably higher and still get hit. Such missiles travel at about twice the speed of sound, up to their "operation ceiling" of 10,000 feet. But they don't stop dead in their tracks at 10,001 feet - with that kind of velocity, it could easily ascend an additional 3,800 feet to reach TWA 800's altitude.

The pilot in the air behind TWA800 didn't report seeing ANYTHING resembling a missile destined for TWA800 ... The fact he didn't see anything doesn't prove anything; what didn't he see and when didn't he see it doesn't answer what the people saw, who did see something ascend prior to the massive fireball.

I guess that bodes ill for Kissinger blowing the lid off the coverup.

An important reason that blast damage wasn't evident is because the FBI had a secret evidence room, where some pieves of the wreckage vanished to never be seen again. Air National Guard pilot Fritz Meyer reported taking a piece of wing-leading-edge, that had holes that looked like bullet holes, and which tested positive for explosives, to an airport for transport to the Washington DC FBI lab. This piece was never seen again.

Stop posting all those factoids and bits of logic...you're making it that much harder for _Jim to do his job...
