I haven't heard of any here yet; there was a case where a daughter was killed in (I think) Sweden, or Switzerland. Or maybe... someone was killed at Universal City Walk a couple of years ago - it seems like that was one of these type killings. I'll check and see what I can find.

It's bad enough here already without that. I've got a friend who works at social services, and she says they lose about one "client" a month to death from the boyfriend/husband. So maybe it's already here, and we just haven't noticed.

Why don’t you in your scientific political correctness expound on the proper number whereupon it becomes acceptable to ascribe the actions to some to the group. Hint, the number is between 1-99%. The Salem Witch Trials cannot be compared to Muslim honor killings. The Witch Trails were an aberation and the perpetuators have been condemned by history. Muslim honor killings go on daily and receive wide support within the Muslim community.

i'm tempted to out some of you folks that've been here awhile, by pinging other respectable FReepers, to put the final kibosh on your credibility--but i don't sense that i need the moral support enough hassle people with too many pings
